Wilson was sitting in his office, finishing paperwork. It was almost time to clock out.
" Only five mais minutos and I'm sure this paper work will be done," he said aloud. It actually took another hour, and when he finished, he looked at the clock. It was 8:oo pm.
"Figures," he thought. He stood up and started to gather his things when Lisa Cuddy walked into his office.
" Wilson, I need to talk to you," she said.
" I was just about to leave and..." he trailed off. She looked flustered. He sighed and took his casaco off.
" What's up?" he asked, gesturing to the couch. They both sat.
" It's House. Something's wrong. I mean he was all...ugh. I just- I don't know."
"That explanation doesn't help me," he said, smiling.
"Has he seemed depressed at all, or did something happen that you know about?"
"Uhm, not that I noticed. Not since lunch anyway. I had to buy it for him as usual. He never has money! And he always orders something really expensive, like today-"
"Wilson," she glared at him, " this is serious."
" I am serious. He needs money!" he sighed and could tell that this was not a joking matter.
"How can you tell he's depressed about something?"
"Well, I walked into his office and he had been crying."
"Wait, hang on. House, was crying? Lisa first of all, House doesn't cry. He doesn't show emotion. And at work of all places? Are you sure he didn't just have allergies of some sort, I mean really..."
"I'm sure." She then described the events that happend after she walked in on House.
"I'm sure he'll be fine tomorrow, Lisa. It was probably just a tantrum," he said standing up. She followed suit and also stood.
"Well, you're probably right."
He put on his casaco and once again gathered his things.
"Hey, I know this may be slightly irregular for House and all, but, why do care so much?"
"Well, he's an important employee and if his emotional state-"
"Sure," Wilson said walking outside of his office. She blushed proceeded after him.
"Goodnight Wilson," she said, signaling that they were leaving that topic undiscussed.
"Night lisa." She could tell that Wilson wasn't convinced. She also knew that if Wilson didn't know about what had upset House, that she'd have to figure out por herself. And the final thing she was sure of, was that House wasn't going to plain out tell her.
