Just a short fanfic about Stacy returning to the hospital.
A segundo Chance
A dia like any other. Not much happening in the hospital. I had just solved another case, and was now in the process of avoiding my clinic hours por cleverly hiding in the last place Cuddy would ever look for me… the clinic. As it approached five o’clock I got ready to go início for the day. As I limped out of the hospital I saw the one person I never thought I would see again. The woman who broke my heart, Stacey. I just stood there a moment staring. I finally walked up to her. She said softly and almost shyly, “Hi, Greg.” Oh how the sound of her voice brought back memories. Our first date. Living together. Her leaving me. “Hi, Stacey,” I replied. “Look I this isn’t the most ideal time but…”She said, “But I j-just needed to see you. Things have just been so hectic, and I‘ve just been so, so lonely.” At the last word I saw a single tear rolled down her cheek. I pulled her into arms, something I’ve wanted to do for so long. “What about Mark?” I said. “We got a divorce about a ano ago.” She replied. “I’d tell you I was sorry…But I’m not.” I said. With that I kissed her and with her lips pressed against mine I suddenly forgot the years of loneliness, I even, for that fleeting moment that seemed to last forever, forgot my pain.
