harry potter Pergunta

Is it me or did you notice that the little girl playing Lily as a child in Severus' memories, does not have blue/green eyes ? Looked like she had brown eyes. Unless I am wrong ? Any idea ?

Yea I noticed that too! I was kind of disappointed that they slipped out on such an important detail....Little Lily did have brown eyes...The most contradicting detail was when the older Lily with infant Harry who showed up later in Snape's memories had blue-green eyes.

Yes, glad to read that's not me only lol - yes, good thing that adult Lily had the correct eye color.

I had to bite back a laugh when I noticed that...I mean...LILYS EYES!! They were basically the only important fact about her

Yes, fortunately ! I saw the movie twice, in English on last Wed., and in French no later than today, and I did notice that the little girl had no blue/green eyes. Above all there are several closeups on little Lily and it bugged me.

Yeah. I can understand not photoshopping Dan's eyes to be green ('cuz that would take a lot of time), but little Lily wasn't shown much. I don't think it would have been too big a hassle to photoshop them to match Dan and Geraldine's eyes.

Maybe they did try those options, but they just didn't work or look right. After all is said and done, I think this young girl was chosen because she looked the most like Geraldine.

When you take into consideration all of the other physical details the film makers have fked up, it's really not surprising.

Hey, in 20 years, when another director decides to film their own vision of Rowling's books, maybe they'll get those things right. :\

Yeah I saw that. I really don't know why they were so careless with that detail.

Yes, they could have cast another little girl. Even a girl with another hair color, hair can be dyed after all (see the Phelps twins that play fred figglehorn and George - they are not redheads in real life).

Does anyone get why Lily as a little girl has bright red hair in the movie, too? I know it was described as somewhat red but that red was extremely bright red..

I noticed this as well and it really bugged me. Why couldn't have the actress worn blue green contact lenses or they cast a different actress with the correct coloured eyes. Her eyes were her most important feature.

And I'm pretty sure young Severus had blue eyes but Alan's are browny black. Please someone correct me on this if I am wrong.

Yes I did. Just after seeing it and hearing Snape say you have your mother's eyes it made me giggle. That was not a good place to laugh in the movie theater.

Yes, I thought it was very poor form for the filmes to leave that crucial detail out.

I think the girl who played "little Lily" was perfect apart from her eyes rahhhh really disappointed that she didn't have blue/green eyes it just takes the whole "you have your mother's eye's" out of context cos its not true.

The boy who played "little Severus" was so adorable and perfectly cast such a cutie.
