Lucky! I think it's so beautiful (Porthcurno and Portreath and St. Michael's Mount)
over a year ago Italktosnakes said…
I'm about a 30 minute drive from Birmingham (Luckily, just far away to not have a Brummy accent) x
over a year ago ThePotatoQueen said…
I've been to St Michael's Mount before.
Have you been to Newquay (sp)?
over a year ago Italktosnakes said…

Boring Hawaii :/

Haha okay, but close to like London or something? (Sorry, not too familiar with where things are. I know London is sort of south and Cornwall has beaches)
over a year ago ThePotatoQueen said…

Lol a squirrell just climbed in through the kitchen window :L
over a year ago Gred_and_Forge said…

over a year ago Italktosnakes said…

So you both live in the countryside? I like wherever they show in Bend it like Beckham (I think it's Hounslow?) I think it's near Heathrow.

Yeah, it's alright sometimes lol. Our state flag has the Union Jack in it ^_^
over a year ago ThePrincesTale said…
Yup, so does the Australia flag. No offense English dudes, but why the heck to we need the Union jack on our flag?
over a year ago ThePotatoQueen said…
I don't live in the countryside! :(

Well, as much as I like chatting with you guys, I gotta go meet my friend now. Ttyl guys! :)

One thing I have always wondered about:
Do English people find that being called 'poms' is offensive?
over a year ago Gred_and_Forge said…
Bye!

I have to leave soon. It's wicked late and I'm tired.
over a year ago Italktosnakes said…
I live in that kind of middle place where you're not far from Brum and that, so you can go shopping a lot, but so it's not really loud or anything.

By the way, it took me five minutes to remember how to spell 'loud' :L x
And I don't even know what 'Poms' mean, so,,,

You have us on out flag because we used to rule you, or something :L x

Where's Bolton? Isn't Danny from there?
over a year ago ThePrincesTale said…
Oh, it must be just australian slang then. We have so much slang we can't tell what is slang and what isn't,lol.

You know the Queen can sack our government. It would be kinda funny if she did. I would laugh. Many would just crack tantrums and shout "WTF?!"

I wish I had a British accent. One thing I've noticed, especially as you go further north in Great Britain, the accent is very musical. Like, your voices go up and down more. It's awesome. Makes speech so much more colourful. Us Americans and Australians, we speak in a very flat tone.

Yes. Yes he is.

He used to be my favourite, but then Tom and harry were so much nicer to me, so now I like them. :) x

Ooh, I see. I like slang. I always call Americans 'Septics'. It REALLY gets on people's nerves.
over a year ago Gred_and_Forge said…
Yeah! And Danny's birthday is next month. I remember you said you met McFly. Tis jealous. how's Dougie? Is he nice? He seems so shy ^_^

Septics is slang for Yanks because it rhymes with tanks, right? x]

I use British slang for a lot of things (trousers, knickers, chips, crisps, etc.)
over a year ago Italktosnakes said…
Dougie was nice :L x
NExt time I go on my other computer, I'll show you the photo :) x
over a year ago ThePrincesTale said…
Lol, where did 'septics' come from?
I remember there was this english guy at my taekwondo, Thomas. The coach always used to call him 'Tommy the Pommie", it was hilarious. But 'pom' actually gets used quite a lot here, like 'Hey Bill, we 'etter beat those bloody poms in the cricket!"

x] Septic takes, yanks, lol! I think I might start saying that...

DON'T. MENTION. THE. BLOODY. ASHES. grrrrrrr.
That last one, Australia played...*shudder*.
That kinda was sarcasm, because I am certainly not an avid cricket fan, and I like talking about the Ashes, because most of the times we've beaten you, just....not the last couple of years....*shudder*

over a year ago Gred_and_Forge said…
I'm the only septic on here tonight D:
over a year ago Italktosnakes said…
Lol. I'm not one of the posh rah's who always play cricket, but whenever there's an Australian person, you can't help but bring it up, cause lots of them think it's SRS BSNS >.< x
over a year ago GemonkDruid said…
I don't really care about sports :P

I care about music though.

And Gred, 5 km = 3 miles.
over a year ago Gred_and_Forge said…
Cricket reminds me of the movie Slumdog Millionaire.

3 miles is long! An hour and 10 minutes is pretty good timing.
over a year ago ThePrincesTale said…
