Our school gave all the sophomores practice practice SATS >.> PPSATs

Oh! Guessing you're not from the US then?
The SATs are standardized tests students here take when applying for college. They're the worst tests ever, you lose a quarter point if you get an answer wrong, but don't lose or gain any if you don't answer. They TRY to mess you up! It's crazy!!! >.<

I agree, AllyAM (or is it alright if I just call you Ally?). They are so boring and pointless. I took the PSAT's last month. They only did me good that I got colleges emailing me that I'd be good for them after the tests-it's nice, but I don't want to worry about college justt yet.

Most kids are offered to take them in 7th or 8th grade (12-14 yrs old) just as practice to see what its like.
We have to take them for serious when we're juniors.
My brother got a perfect 800 (highest score you can get on a section) on the math part when he took the SATs. That was the part I struggled most with (it was a lot of stuff I had not learned yet)

and yeah, I suppose you could say it's a little like the NEWTs and OWLs

^Wow. A perfect 800. Nice. Math was worst for me, too (weird, considering math is ssupposed to be my best subject!). The grammar part was my best.

Math is my best subject, too. But I'm only in geometry right now :P
I don't think I did super on it >.> twas a big surprise that they were even giving us these tests today anyway! I'm only a sophomore, but I think I need to start going through the SAT prep books

My english teacher MADE us use practice books for the PSATs (practice books for the practice test-wow! :D).

I've watched a show like that I hated the character Bloom but she was the main character but I loved the story.

Iknow this is a late response, but I'm glad I'm only in 8th grade so all I had to take this year was the test to get into high school. (TACHS) I'm glad I don't have to start prepping for the SAT's!

Erm... Well it takes place in the future, and there's this operation you take when you're 16 that turns you "pretty". And... stuff happens.

Ooohh I live on the east coast too! And I go to catholic school, you could call it private. I had to take a test to get into catholic high school. Naturally I would go to a catholic high school because I'm not used to public school. I made the school I wanted.X)
