I am going to be frank from the beginning, I really do not like the direction the writers of Gossip Girl are going with this show. This episode bears no exception. I mean I really tried to find some interest in the new Vanessa Dan storyline, Blair's crazy obsession with the play and Jenny's experimenting stage, but I couldn't. I have accepted that Gossip Girl has found its way into this type of political drama and lost sight of why fãs loved the series in the beginning. I was surely satisfied with this installment.

Summer's about rapping up, just like for us fãs so we can relate, but it also seemed as though a lot of loose ends still needed to be tied up.

I chose to respond to link artigo via another artigo because the comment would be too long. I suggest you read that one before leitura this one unless you intentionally don't want it to make sense.

You do realize that Blair is the one who always called Dan for help right? He didn't pull her away from anyone. She distanced herself from her other friends because the only person whom she felt could help her in any way was Dan. She could be herself with him. "You were the only one who could save me from my own worst instincts," (5x03). I'm pretty sure this was made clear throughout all of season...
