SM artists like Girls\' Generation and f(x)\'s Luna and Sulli attend opening ceremony for SMTOWN @ Coex Artium

SMTOWN @ Coex Artium in Samsungdong held its grand opening ceremony on January 13 before its official opening on January 14 along with the premiere of SM Entertainment\'s hologram musical, \'School Oz.\'  The six levels of this cool building allow fans all over the world to visit for shopping, hair, and makeup for the full artist experience in addition, of course, to the performance venue.  It also has a cafe, gift shop, studio, and more!  What a dream come true for fans who were always curious about SMTOWN and wanted to step into their idols\' shoes for a day.

Attending the event were SM\'s chief producers and many of the artists like

EXO, f(x)\'s Sulli and Luna, Girls\' Generation, and even INFINITE.  First, Lee Soo Man stepped up onto the stage to welcome everybody in attendance.  

He said, "I wondered how it would be to create an amusement park in the city.  That\'s why the name is \'

Theme Park in the City.\'  I think it might be something we need as a city in the future.  This is SM\'s city theme park of which I had dreamt for a long time," and spoke of the goal to share a lot of the cultural contents.  

Taeyeon\'s "If," Yuri\'s "Gee" dance, animation character Larva and EXO Sehun\'s performance, as well as a digest video of \'School Oz\' shown via hologram.

Girls\' Generation seems very close to Lee Soe Man. Nice to see it due to many negative comments about him. Fighting Girls\' Generation

Everyone looks really great, Sm and non-sm artist! Really nice to see Sulli again, she looks good and healthy. I think the hiatus was good for her, and it\'s nice to see her attend a SM event because she hasn\'t since she started hiatus. I hope all of f(x) can become healthy and finish solo activities and rest, and then comeback strong and rejuvenated. Overall everyone looked really great, i suggest people look further in the comments to see who else attended!

SM & Woolim merged last 2013. Woolim is now a subsidiary label of SM but their artists like INFINITE is still managed by them. Woolim did it to support INFINITE, financially for a wider promotions inside & overseas.

Glad to see INFINITE is also active in SM Town\'s activities like this. Hoping to see more collaborations w/ SM & Woolim\'s artists.
