Sophie Turner talks season 6 on the Oscars red carpet 

Sophie Turner is making a splash and representing the cast of 

The actress has already hit the red carpet, wearing a dress by Galvan. Her sage-colored gown was created as part of the

Red Carpet Green Dress challenge, with her gown made entirely of sustainable products.

While chatting on the red carpet, Turner dropped a few hints about

season 6, including a rather sizable one regarding her character’s fate this season.

While talking to Giuliana Rancic about season 6, Turner said, “They kill all of us off, so I check at the end of every [script], I’m flicking through, I’m like death, death death – I’m good for this season.”

It sounds like Sansa will be around for season 7, as most people expected.

So glad she makes it out of S6, hopefully this will at least cut down on the speculation that she’ll die around the time of the battle.

Second: YESSS!! She doesn’t die. I mean, I didn’t think so, but well, you never know with this series. Kind of intrigued about who DOES die. I thought when Emilia said, “They almost killed us all,” (or something to that effect) she was joking, but apparently she’s not if Sophie’s saying it too. Have we guessed who’s dying this season? Beyond Ramsay, and maybe Jorah and LF…I don’t know who else would die. Oh! Perhaps Loras since Finn is about to star in some other series. Should we be including any major cast members as well?

Then, you had her dying…but apparently she lives (per her own words). I mean, we’ve heard about wolves and wildlings and lions and tigers and bears (oh my! 😉) but at the end of the day….who knows.

Ultimately, as long as I know that she lives…I’m ok with whatever this season throws at me. Actually…that’s a lie. I will not be ok with her mindlessly following LF’s agenda again…but methinks that’s not going to be something I should worry about this season.

GRRM covets Sansa. She is on the ultimate slow burn throughout ASoI&F. But when her ultimate end-game does draw near, look out! Her predicament could be the most memorable of them all!

Yes, I have heard unconfirmed reports of Sansa

being at the battle. But not once have I heard from anyone reliable anything about her being hurt or dying.

I agree with you. I think this will FINALLY be her season. And I can’t even begin to express the absolute catharsis that will be for me and every single Sansa fan who’s had to endure years and years of ‘hate’ and disdain for our girl.

But I think your particular scenario happens earlier than episode 10. I’m fully convinced we get a replay of S4E8 where she convinces the Northern Lords to “Live Free or Die Trying”!!! They get pumped, hyped, declare her Lady of the North/Winterfell, and then go to battle for her in ep 9.

I think ep 10 will end on an omnious note. If/when Sansa and Jon take back Winterfell, that story isn’t going to end happily. Jon knows what’s coming. And even if they end S6 with the Stark banners flying over Winterfell, they’re going to start S7 with an exodus south. House White Walker is coming, bitches! 😜

In our defense, these plotlines are actually based on a lot of other news (filming, interviews, etc); not this particular one that she survives the season.

What news besides being in a battle? I’m not trying to be contrary but I feel like I didn’t hear a whole lot about Sansa until the battle spoiler. Presumably most of her filming was indoors so we weren’t privy to the content of those scenes from the outside. We the fans can only guess. But, hey, what’s speculation for in promo season but for fun? I’m sure Sansa will play an important part as all the major characters do but you’d think Sansa was lining up for Azor Ahai in these threads.

Sophie looks absolutely gorgeous. I’m glad Sansa will survive through this season, and I hope she will have a good storyline this year, since she is one of the most interesting characters in the show.

yeah I feel like there wasn’t much Sansa news this time??? my guess is that’s probably because Sansa had mostly indoor scenes? But I feel like its naive to assume that Sansa is gonna have the biggest arc this season.. that’s gonna be dany and jon imo. Sansa isn’t even gonna be the sole main character in most of her scenes. She’s going to be sharing a lot of scenes with Jon, Theon, Ramsay and LF and we all know how much D&D love these characters.

I honestly don’t think that Lancel is going to die just yet. Just a hunch, but aside from the High Sparrow, we need a guy on the ground for the Sparrows, so unless Loras converts (and turns into Lancel 2.0, instead of a Kingsguard as per Books, but would explain is hair being cut), we have a need for Ser Lancel.

That said, I think that most of us assume that she’ll last until at least close to the end, as will the other Stark kids. Although we probably would have said that about Robb, too….

I have this bad feeling about Rickon dying around Snowbowl to create a messy situation for Northerners and great one for that sneaky fella LF. Some people might vouch for Jon for his heroics, but still Sansa holds all the triumphs in her hands or should I say Littlefinger. I can so see him screwing up Starks big victory by taking out Northerers big triumph card, which is Rickon.

Sansa might end up QitN for all we know and this being predictable is not exactly the best argument as someone here posted. Jon being KitN or King of Winter is also predictable. It can be said about many other things but that never stops them from happening.

There has been so much speculation about all possible conclusions to the northern plot, Sansa as QitN, Jon/ Rickon as KitN, that no matter how this ends, somebody or the other will find it predictable

Yeah, the one person who would benefit the most from Rickon’s death is LF, as all his plans seem centred on Sansa. That’s another reason I think Rickon will not survive very long. I am also curious to see LF interact with Jon next season.

Sansa becoming queen/ regent in the north seems most likely to me. I thought it was curious that she was positioned next to Robb in the HotU S6 character posters released. Or maybe I am just reading too much into it!

So, what are the next potential trailer dates for those who still want to hold on to hope? Near the S5 DVD/Blu-Ray release on the 15th of March? Anything else coming up that might make for a good day to release a trailer?

My most optimistic view about the trailer being late is that they want to finish the CGI for the teases of White Walkers and the Dragons. A man can hope.

Have we guessed who’s dying this season?

I have a feeling we will get the trailer this week, or next maximum in order to hype up the S5 DVD/Blu-Ray release. No way they won’t drop a trailer, they want to hype up the show however they are clearly delaying not to give too much away and to build up excitement.

The blue ray comes out on the Idea of March. Considering Jon Snow’s storyline last year, that’s kinda cool.

Why so many people think Rickon is going to die at some point? The whole point of the character is to be the spare Stark. Also, it wouldn’t be much of an impact, since we haven’t seen him in years. I don’t think this would be a good twist. I think all Starks survive until the final season, do I’m not expecting Arya to survive it. I think Bran may die just because he’s becoming too powerful.

I have alot of thoughts about who dies this season and I don’t like any of them…lol….I agree Sophie looks totally beautiful! As to whether we get a trailer, well I have my doubts at this point, but still hoping. I can’t believe they won’t release one (hope I’m not being optimistic).
