7th Heaven Actress Sarah Goldberg Dead at 40 

Sarah Goldberg, best known for playing Sarah Glass on The WB/CW’s 

Though a cause of death has not been released, the 

reports that Goldberg’s mother suspects a “heart ailment.”

Then credited as Sarah Danielle Madison, Goldberg joined 

in 2002, playing the sudden wife of Barry Watson’s Matt Camden. Watson tweeted about Goldberg’s death Tuesday:

. Following her time on the family drama, she appeared on a number of primetime dramas, including

from 2009 to 2011, playing the mother of Matt Lanter’s Liam.

Very sad news. Awful news day for the show (yes I know it’s been over for 7 years but you know what I mean)

Wow that timing is incredibly coincidental. Sad day for any 7th Heaven fans out there.

Well she died last week. It’s likely the news event with Stephen Collins prompted the staff to start digging which lead them to this unfortunate story.

I can’t be the only one who finds it a little bit inappropriate that the only reason you’re reporting on this woman’s death a week later is because you were searching for tweets about Collins’ child molestation accusations?

Or maybe it’s because Barry tweeted about it today? According to the link of the obituary, it was only published last night.

Irony here is if you look at “deleted” tweets, he didn’t even know until the fans brought it his attention. He said, I hope that not true and when it was he deleted those and tweeted the RIP

Well I doubt they were monitoring Barry’s tweets before the Stephen Collins thing broke.

That is sad news. However the news came to be posted here, at least it didn’t go overlooked forever. She deserves to be remembered far more than the freak who made headlines today.

Very gross that TVLine is taking advantage of a horrible situation by posting this news at this time.

Sad news. She was great on 7th Heaven. Thoughts and prayers are with her family.

This was not picked up and printed due to the disgusting situation with Mr. Collins. If you click through to the obituary from the Chicago paper, it was just published today. I happen to be a friend of her family. They are shocked and devastated and did not publish an obituary until now. The burial was for family only and there was a very small Shiva for those close to them. Sarah’s death was not made public until now due to their grief and wishes for privacy.

If they wanted privacy don’t post about it.

Meaning that they had privacy when they needed it most. Leave it alone.

So what is it about quality shows like Longmire and Dallas that the networks don’t like? Cyntia Cidre perfected a great storyline for Dallas in the tradition of the original series and the actors chosen to move the show forward were perfectly matched to their parts. As for Longmire, a great show weaving native American history and tradition into the storyline was providing a real insight into the lives of modern day native americans. I just hope someone somewhere sees beyond the almighty dollar and will bring back these two great programs.
