can i be emo with out cuting my self and being sad.

I don't think I could answer this.... I don't label my self as emo but I do cut. I`m depressed.... My old girl friend broke up with me... my resent one died from cancer with out warning. But I know some people who are scene, It's like being emo but just much happier and don't cut! So if you stereotype yourself... either do it a scene or as a none moody or self harmful emo!!! Of course you can. Just because the mayority of emos cut or are depressed doesn't mean that being emo means being depressed and cutting yourself.
