I believe Lucy belongs to Kouta because they both like each other even when they were kids, well until that little mishap happened but they seemed to be over that so thats why I think Kouta needs to be with Lucy

I like Lucy and Kouta. Both have been through so much pain already and can lean on each other. I don't hate or dislike Yuka really. She has a good coração wear it counts.
But I think both Lucy and Kouta really know what its like to loose people they amor and what its like to be lonely. I feel like they help to fill that empty gap in each other and ease each others suffering. I think Yuka wants to help Kouta, but all she can offer is comfort and sympathy, while Lucy and Kouta can empathize and have a better understanding on what the other is feeling.

I would say Kaede but shes dead (And my waifu regardless) but still Kouta deserves whoever he wants after the shit he's gone through.

well it's sure that the end was kind of unfair for lucy ,being the only one who dies .....but kouta's marriage with his cousin( so annoying this girl!!) didn't really affect me because we see in the end that he still waited and waited for her , but after some times he had to mover on por marrying his cousin but that doesn't mean he forgot about lucy it's just that it seems to me that for him if it's not lucy it can be anyone and seeing how his cousin was clinging to him he just agreed to marry her. And what proves that his marriage was not really that important is that we didn't see him in a happy and warm family we just know that he is married that's all , he just came with his daughter at lucy's grave and here we figured it out ( about the marriage, we didn't see the ceremony or a reunited family in a beautiful house). So for me the one he truly likes is not his cousin but Lucy (even if she's an important friend to him she still occupy a big part of his heart). And it's not surprising, there are a lot of people who marry someone who's not their true love, but are still happy. Well in the manga, he gets the maniac, but in the animê I'm gonna say that he goes with Lucy

SPOILER ALERT TO THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ THE MANGA.
Yes, Kaede/Lucy/Nyuu dies, but she is reborn and Kaede/Lucy has a twin sister who is Nyuu and they meet Kouta again and live happily ever after. But FREAKING YUKA and Kouta get married.. Who the frick would want Yuka x Kouta? Yuka's a freaking whiny anus that is so FREAKING SELFISH and just wants Kouta all for herself.
LUCY DESERVES KOUTA. Look at all that Lucy has went through in her life. She was bullied, abused, her dog was killed, her best friend was killed when she was a child, she was hated, and she just wanted somebody to amor her. And about that whole ring thing in Kaede's letter at the end of the manga, I'm not sure what that meant, and I don't know whether Kouta's gonna marry Yuka AND Kaede or divorce Yuka and marry Kaede, but I don't care at that point. As long as Kaede gets Kouta someway or another, I'm satisfied. -3-

Lucy. Bc her and kouta's past. Yuka is whiny, jealous, toxic all the time and that's pretty much all she's known for doing. She's also physically abusive; she's always slapping and punching him. Verbally abusive; she calls him and idiot, jerk, etc. She's manipulative. When he cried in that one scene, Yuka chastises him saying "men can't cry, be man."
