Gallifrey

Burnt orange skies
A forest of fire
The beauty of the great city
Incased in a great glass dome
A Utopia, of spendors and marvels
This is before the Time War

The Dome Cracked
The world shook
The city vanished
The people ran, though time to escape
But all found their doom

All but one, the only one
The one who stopped the war
Stopped the suffering,
Stopped the madness,
And for what reward,
an eternity along
His people
His family
His friends
Gone forever

But he ended their suffering
ended the corruption
But he can't forgive himself.
