As technologically advanced as it was in its time, the animation for SWatSD unfortunately hasn't held up that well over the years. The characters look a little odd and stiff at times, and it is probably the least consistent of all of the DP films. Plus the colors aren't as vibrant as the more recent films.

Or Brave or Snow White.

I'm just prefer 2D animation to 3D.

Eh. I wasn't big on the animation for this one. Also, the people and faces in Brave looked really caricatured.

I agree with MaidofOrleans & Sparklefairy375. For the time it was made in, it looks great, compare to the others, not so much. I also noticed while looking at stills of the movie, that the edges don't seem filled in. Like if you were to look at Snow White's hair, where the closer to the lines the drawing gets, the less ink is there. While in movement it's not really noticeable, but looking at stills... It looks a tiny be unfinished.

It isn't as detailed and finished as others. While it was a groundbreaking leap in its time but compared to others now, it lacks so much from colors to movement to landscape to character drawing.

@jeangreyforever no... I have seen BatB, especially considering it's my favorite DP film. Yes, it's very inconsistent, but I would argue that it's not as inconsistent as SWatSD.
