As a pessimist, I don't care for this moral because the world needs optimists and pessimists. It doesn't really empower me at all. posted over a year ago.

I still find this moral simply a license to justify people's reasoning to "stick with what is important to them"--- at the total expense of bystanders and other people. This moral is basically saying "You can be cutthroat in the pursuit of your ambition, and people will still love you afterwards!" I'll let you guess which part of that makes me irritated. And Snow White, yes. I admire her optimism, but I obviously don't have her gung-ho positive attitude in real life. posted over a year ago.
