UnholyNoise picked Everything in moderation:
There's several morals, actually the ones I thought the movie really pushed were "everything in moderation" and "getting what you need instead of getting what you want" Especially that first one though -- Naveen's lifestyle is just Tiana's with the pendulum swung in the other direction. Both are portrayed as wrong, and it's when they give and take from each other that they grow and become better people.

wavesurf picked Don't let ambition make you forget about kindness toward others:
This was the understanding that the movie gave me. TPATF is kind of the flip-side of Cinderella. People think Cindy lacks ambition and is too kind. And I think Tiana is full of ambition and is ruthless (in a way). Both movies seem to state the same thing, but approach it from opposite ends of the spectrum: "kindness is ultimately required" if you wish to accomplish your dreams.
