I sort of understood Elsa's love for her sister, but the love Anna displayed for Elsa was really well-developed. There were very few scenes showing Elsa loving her sister. There were more scenes featuring Elsa being bewildered, scared, and out-of-control.
Elsa's amazingly too oblivious to notice how much damage she had done. But, That doesn't mean she's mean-spirited or is pretending. In fact if I recall once Hans told her what she has done she was quiet upset with herself. And makes more fear inside of her. To be honest I found it selfless of her to stay away from Anna. Every time she got near her she was hurt in some way. I can't imagine how much fear would build up inside of me if I almost killed my sister while we were just goofing off. Elsa did everything she could to protect her sister. And in a lot of cases putted her sister before her. Can you imagine being locked in a room and being told to do nothing. Her mind of thought probably went a lot like this"Stay away from your sister then she wouldn't die.". I feel a lot of sympathy towards Elsa for trying to keep her sister safe but failing. But I do feel like she puts her sister before anything else. And I think a lot of you guys are being too hard on her for her fear alone. Even if it was force she still did seem innocent. I really hope she gets less of this "she's a bland monster thing". Cause she really seems like a good person but, at the same time she is way too oblivious to think that.
Again, this is a problem with the movie.
