10.Beast gives Belle the biblioteca

This biblioteca is KICK ASS. Seriously, when I was a kid I wanted to run through it and open every book, climb all the ladders. It's like Chuck E. Cheese for nerds. The majesty and enormity of the room astounded me, but the fact the Beast can't read makes me think this room is just a big slap in the face :D Anyway, the scene is wonderful, but not as important as others.

"...this scene is cute, but to me it is not as significant." (ppgbelle4)

"To compare this scene with others, it's less important. Sure, it's sweet, but... Oh... It's impossible to pick one. :( I amor them all." (ppv)

"It wasn't that important to me or anything that special." (PrincessVandal)

9.Something There

The only part of this scene that I like is when Belle smacks Beast in the face with a snowball, and when he's like "Duhhhhhhhhhh" holding all the birds. It's a romantic scene that shows the turning of friendship into love.

"I really hate this scene. It makes Beast look like a ponce, Belle looks sort of freaky in it, I hate the song, and Beast's cantar voice makes me want to puke." (Straggy)

"As I said before, this song is a bit too repetitive for my tastes." (AllegroGiocoso)

8. Into the West Wing

This is personally my favorito scene in Beauty and the Beast. The score is spectacular; it's my favorito piece of score in any disney movie. I amor how there's no talking, the West Wing itself is beautiful in its catastrophic state, Belle has some wonderful shots in this scene, and people loved how it set the tone of Beast's past. But some people just don't feel as gripped por it as others. It's a fun scene until the Beast shows up and goes all Grace Jones on Belle's ass.

"I amor this scene. The score is absolutely brilliant. I also amor the animation in this scene, I amor the darkness and suspense. To me, you can learn a lot about the Beast from this scene, with the picture being torn and how it's all messed up, becuase you assume he did that out of anger." (madisonsavanna)

"I think this one is one of my least favorito scenes in BatB. The rose is the only good thing about the scene." (FullMoonFever)

"It's sort of an introduction to the Beast's past and it explores the darker side of him. I honestly amor this scene a lot because the score was amazing and amor how the tone and mood was set almost instantly at the beginning of it." (leptitsouris)

7. Balcony / I release you

A very poignant scene in Beauty and the Beast, this is the turning point of Beast's inner transformation from monster to human. You see that the beast inside of him is gone, because he releases Belle, who was, and is, his everything. Some people found this scene touching, others found it boring.

"Anyway, I really like this scene because it reveals another part of the Beast's character, how he changes. He's shy and insecure at first, going to Belle at the bench, and then when he sees Belle is upset, it hurts him. However, what hits me the most is when he looks progressivo, para a frente after he hears Belle being upset, and he has this selfless/determined look in his face which pretty much says, "'Even though this will hurt me, and I will be stuck like this if I do this, I am letting her go because I want her to be happy.'" (ppgbelle4)

"Belle just whines... And the "Are you happy here with me?" is kind of boring and weird." (FullMoonFever)

6. Beast's transformation

My segundo favorito scene in the film, I think it's the best disney transformation there is. It's bright, magical, and I always sit there anticipating the final moment where the light shines and the human face appears, and you see the man beneath the Beast, although he looks like Fabio and Belle's lovechild. It makes his character mais real to me. Some people amor this scene, others say it takes too long.

"The Transformation Scene Was Really Spectacular, But I Wasn't Moved. It Was Not My Best Scene In The Movie But oi It's Like That In Fairy Tales Sometimes!" (soxfan89)

"The transformation wasn't very impressive to me at all. It was supposed to be this momentous time, but all I could think was "'hurry up and be human already'" (chameron4eva)

5. The Beast Dies
Maybe the only scene in a topo, início ten of a disney princess movie that includes someone's death, this scene is incredibly heart-wrenching. It shows that Belle showed her love, so she thinks, a little too late. Here Beast finally can confess his true feelings for Belle. But others found this scene dragged out.

"Hm, it wasn`t much mais than Belle`s crying." (LionaChoco)

"Please...please don't leave me. I amor you." is losing?!? Come on.
I don't understand how it can be worse than the 1st scene, really.
It's touching, dramatic. Tears of real suffering do mean nothing for people, yes? (ppv)

4. The Stained-Glass Intro
A breakthrough in an intro to a disney film, this scene wasn't composed of active characters but rather stained glass imagens portrayed photo-like. The narration in this scene is brilliant and touching, and sets up a stellar mood to the film. While this scene is wonderful, some people found it unimportant compared to the ones remaining.

"It's visually appealing, but the movie can live without it."(ppgbelle4)

"I'd say I amor the others mais than this one." (fhghu)

3. The End
Funny that the end comes right after the intro on this list. I've always found the reprise of "Beauty and the Beast" quite beautiful. I like how Belle and Beast don't talk in this end, they just dance and gaze at each other, and the stained glass ending is brilliant. Most people said it was a touch repetitive, and that they found the kiss mais to be the happy ending. Babette skanks out. Plus we see Lumiere and Cogsworth have a apaixonados quarrel, because they clearly want each other. :D

"Wow...this was difficult. "Beauty and th Beast" is such a sweet romantic scene, especially when Belle lays her head on his chest, and the kiss is so powerful...I amor the end...especially how it ends with the stained glass window, I just like the other scenes more." (Dreamygal)

"For me, the happy ending was when Beast turned back into a prince and Belle and him had that fireworks kiss. Although I amor "Tale as old as time...", it was a bit anticlimactic due to the anterior scene. "(leptitsouris)

2.Beauty and the Beast
Probably the most iconic scene of the movie, it's no wonder it made it this far. You really see Belle and Beast fit together here, and it's the true show of their love. Their dance is so harmonious and yet humble. Some people found it boring, though, leaving it just short of the first place spot.

"This scene is one of best disney scenes ever.
Angela Lansbury is so great there. And the ball room is gorgeous. You want to be there, want to see how they dance, how Belle leans to the Beast, how he's unbelievably happy, how he first doesn't know what to do, and you cheer his up with Lumiere: Go, Beast, we're with you! And then the light is putting out, and song is too... And you feel how it makes you feel creepy all over. Because it's a perfect scene. "(ppv)

"It's sweet but a little boring" (SailorM91)

1. "It is you!"
It's a perfect, perfect moment. Beast reveals himself as a human finally, Belle looks in his eyes and can tell it's him. Belle and Beast finally kiss, and it sets off an explosion of fireworks as the castelo changes back.

" kiss is so epic, with the effects and the score!" <3 )ppgbelle4)

"They just went "erm, this is boring, I KNOW FIREWORKS"... and let's be honest, when you're over like 8, fireworks aren't quite as fun." (Straggy) [<---have to disagree with that, I still love fireworks!]

I really think he loses it, here... Raging at a person is not explaining to a person your personal view.

Triton is one of those dads in disney that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t amor him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I think his abusive tendencies, though, stem from insecurities he has within himself. Triton is afraid of the unknown. He's also afraid of not appearing “manly” enough. ( Bizarrely, this also makes me think of Prince Adam and...

I got inspired por laylastepford's link about which American Cities the disney Princesses would live in and as I'm from Sweden I decided to write an artigo about which Swedish Towns (since most falls into that category, only a few falls into the "city" category) each disney Princesses would live in, it's hard to identify each town's personality so I based it on mostly other aspects. I haven't been to all these towns so I'm just basing on what I know about each town

Snow White: Alingsås

This town lays only about 30 minutos train ride from Gothenburg and from what I've read and seen off...

Hello there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with my third DP Song Analysis article. I've forgotten how much I enjoy composição literária these, and since I re-watched Valente a few days ago, I thought I'd analyze one of its most notable songs -- "Into the Open Air".

Before we begin, thought I'd mention this -- the chorus occurs twice in the real song (the one you can purchase from the soundtrack), but only occurs once in the actual movie. The lyrics for the two are quite different, but because we only hear one version in the movie, I'll only discuss that one we hear. :D

This love, it is a distant star...

Ah yes. Merchandise. Money, in other words. I adore the disney princesses. They are all unique, and have good qualities. Some are even a little complex and the majority are at least decent role models. That's not how disney markets them. Well, unless their name is Anna or Elsa. For the first 11 princess, they are downgraded into sparkle obsessed girls that look nothing like they did in their original film. Great princesses are forgotten in merchandise as well. The whole system is downright awful. For the Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante sisters, disney markets them as "I don't need a man". They tried that with Merida...

I realized that I've never written an artigo with any of my list in this club; so I wanna start with something that I really love: disney Princesses' Outfits! I'm a big fã of disney dresses, here's why I amor cosplayers and to cosplay so much. It's wonderful to see an animated dress in person.
Well, about my article: I included just complete outfits, for example I kept out Ariel's rags because, in my opinion, this isn't even an outfit, or Mulan's white dress she wears under her Matchmaker visit dress because they are part of the same outfit. So, I hope you'll enjoy my list and tell me with...

I'm not doing it with the CGI Princesses because I don't particularly like any of their smiles. I mean... they look like real teeth Dx Anyway, here's my list...

9. Pocahontas
As some may know, I think Pocahontas is a really beautiful human being, in and out. But what I don't find beautiful about her is her ways of expression. When she speaks, it sounds like she's faking every type of emotion she's trying to express and the same goes to when she smiles.

8. Mulan
Mulan's smile feels held back so that's why she is in this placement. But I do think it's warm and natural, maybe not as ''impressive''...

13. Snow White
Snow would definitely be higher on my list if her curls were mais defined. I like the idea of her hair styled in a bob with a red bow. Unfortunately, that idea didn't come out too nicely to me.

12. Cinderella
Strawberry blonde is my favorito hair color and Cinderella's burnt laranja hair color is no doubt uniquely gorgeous. Speaking of unique, so are her bangs but I can't say I really like them as they look like plastic to me.

11. Tiana
The little strands of curls that hang down are pretty cute. Although it doesn't look like you can do much with Tiana's hair but tie it...

Just a quick artigo to compare Gaston to the Beast and decide who is really the villain...

Similarities:
Gaston: Vain, selfish and doesn't really care about anyone else.
VS
Beast: Spoiled, selfish, cursed for not having any amor in his heart.
xxxx
Gaston: Only wants Belle because she's beautiful.
VS
Beast: Only wants Belle because she's the first girl who's come along since the curse.
xxxx
Gaston: Locks up Belle and her father.
VS
Beast: Locks up Maurice and keeps Belle prisoner.
xxxx
Differences:
Gaston: Relatively level-headed. Acts mais out of jealousy than anger.
VS
Beast: Quick temper. Yells a lot for...

This is the tenth artigo in my "Why I Love.." series and it's for Rapunzel! Rapunzel is a great princess and I hope I can do her the justice she deserves. I hope you enjoy leitura this!!

Rapunzel isn't one of my favoritos really, in fact she's in my bottom three, but that doesn't mean I still don't really amor her a lot. If you've been here for a while, you'll know that Rapunzel was actually my favorito princess for a few months, and before that she was always either segundo or third on my list, but sadly all she's done is drop overtime. Despite her dropping, one of my favorito attributes of...

This is a serious article. Eyebrows frame your face so you need to have the right pair. I spend way too much time plucking and grooming my eyebrows so yeah, I think eyebrows are very aesthetically important. I noticed the results look a bit like my non-existent prettiest Princess list with a few exceptions of course.

13. Mulan
They are Asian looking alright, with the shape. I promise I don't have anything against big eyebrows but Mulan's kind of overpower her eyes and they look a bit untamed. They are definitely not bad, just comparing to the others. Shang has nice strong arched eyebrows though....
