I honestly don't like this part. It suggest that in her proper mentality, Elena wouldn't choose Damon and that Damon needs Elena's emotions out-of-control for him to win her. And who said he needs an extra edge? He's Damon freakin Salvatore, that's all the edge he needs!!!
