I've read the first 2 books in the Darkest Powers trilogy, but I wasn't very impressed. And now after reading Dark Visions, I almost feel like DP was just a rip off of DV.

They aren't the best, but they haven't played really bad like teams like North Korea, who lost Portugal 7-0. USA have drew both their games and at the moment 2nd in the group. The winner and runner up of the groups are the ones that go through.

Yeah. XD But the problem is, the runner up of our group will probably have to play Germany and if they won Germany they would have to play Argentina. Those teams are not ones you want to play against.:/

Yeah from our group us and USA are through. But because USA scored at the last bloody minute against Algeria they win our group and we are going to end up having to face probably Germany which means we have no chance. And if we did win against them then we would have to play against Argentina.:/
