Comic Books The rivalry between comic book fans: amor it or hate it?

Everyone has their preference, Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, etc.
But some fãs get very protective or very competitive with fãs who enjoy a differing comic book company which is different to theirs.
I'm just curious if you think this is a good thing or a bad thing.
