Hello, Aretha Fans,

There is a new book coming out soon entitled "Songbirds, Greatest Female Singers of Our Time." Guess where The queen resides on the list? I am the author. I will let you know when it is released.

Here is an excerpt:

Aretha Louise Franklin was born on March 25, 1942, in Memphis, Tennessee. Captivating listeners with her powerful vocals, Aretha was referred to as the “Queen of Soul.” She has sold mais than 75 million records, including favoritos “Respect” and “I Say a Little Prayer.”
Said fellow singer Mary J. Blige, “Aretha is a gift from God. When it comes to expressing yourself through song, there is no one who can touch her. She is the reason why women want to sing. Aretha has everything – the power, the technique. She is honest with everything she says.”

Struming my pain with his fingers

Singing my life with his words

killing me softy with his song

killing me softly with his song

telling my whole life
with his words

killing me softly with his song

I heard he sang a good song

I heard he had a style

Lookin' out on the morning rain
(Ah-ooo)
I used to feel so uninspired
(Ah-ooo)
And when I knew I had to face another day
(Ah-ooo)
Lord it made me feel so tired
Before the dia I met you
Life was so unkind
But you're the key to my piece of mind

'cause you make me feel
You make me feel
You make me feel like a natural woman (woman)

When my soul was in the lost and found
You came along to claim it
I didn't know just what was wrong with me
Till your kiss helped me name it
Now I'm no longer doubtful
Of what I'm livin' for
And if I make you happy
I don't need to do more

'cause you make me feel
You make me feel
You make me...

The moment I wake up
Before I put on my makeup
I say a little prayer for you
While combing my hair, now,
And wondering what dress to wear, now,
I say a little prayer for you
Forever, forever, you'll stay in my coração
and I will amor you
Forever, and ever, we never will part
Oh, how I'll amor you
Together, together, that's how it must be
To live without you
Would only be heartbreak for me.

I run for the bus, dear,
While riding I think of us, dear,
I say a little prayer for you.
At work I just take time
And all through my coffee break-time,
Lyrics www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/aretha_franklin/
I say a little prayer for you.

Forever, and ever, you'll stay in my coração
and I will amor you
Forever, forever we never will part
Oh, how I'll amor you
Together, together, that's how it must be
To live without you
Would only be heartbreak for me.

My darling believe me,
For me there is no one
But you.
