Any type of characters you don't like?

Ones that can't think for themselves! I can forgive the bland go-to characters animê throws at us... but if they are also dependent on someone for every little thing. Nope, can't like them.

And maybe that's cause I'm really bad about never wanting to rely on someone else. I know that everyone needs help sometimes. Help is a good thing. But it's when it is all the time. Luckily there aren't a lot of characters that always rely on someone else, most can think for themselves or at least try. If they try and fail that's perfectly fine.

I guess I'll post my normal "don't like" character. The Heroine from Amnesia

Gary stues. Those boys, who are simply the best at everything, have their own harem and easily kill all their enemies.

My two least favorito animê characters (actually, fictional characters overall) of all time all pretty much sexually harass people.
So yeah
Stalker characters who sexually harass the main character and then for some reason are seen por the weebs in the fandom as "hot" and are shipped with the main character who is afraid of them because of the way they treat them.

I also usually tend to dislike characters who do bad things and then guilt trip the audience into thinking they were the good guy all along. Like you did something bad. No matter what you say I'm not going to forgive you. I actually like characters who do bad things and know they're p messed up. Characters who deny that, well...

Tsunderes. Enough said.

Basically Yuno Gasai. She's pretty much everything I hate in a character.

There are some exceptions. Sometimes I do like a character the attains one or two of said traits.

The whiny, self-pitying, "my-life-was-so-tragic-that-the-whole-world-has-to-feel-sorry-for-me" type. Any character who feels the need to drown in their own self-pity just so the other characters and the audience will go "Awww, it's ok! You're bland and a douche bag, but we forgive you because your life is sooooo hard!" AGHHHH! Now, if there's the moment in an animê where the character just snaps and starts losing it completely and either tries to kill/harm themselves (in a dramatic moment) or kill/harm another character- and it only happens ONCE- that's fine. However, if all we know about the character is that their life is horrible, why should we care?
There is literally only one exception to this rule for me (and even then I got fed up with it after he brought it up for the 20th time): Barnaby Brooks Jr. from Tiger and Bunny. I lost count of how many times he said "He killed my parents!" I don't know why I wasn't mad at him, though it was probably because he balanced out with humor and actual emotion.
I bring my point back to this: If you're so busy pitying yourself, NO ONE ELSE CAN.

(Also, the girl in the picture is- I think- Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion. No, I don't know the animê and she may not be that kind of character. The subtitle just really worked, so no one get offended, kay?)
