Chapter 4- The procurar Begins

Katara was getting married to Aang outside in a garden, and she couldn’t wait to meet him at the end of the aisle. Her father was escorting her in her Water Tribe dress. She smiled at Aang from the other side and he smiled back. He looked handsome in his tux.
Suddenly the weather turned dark. People in the audience stood up and gasped as they stared wide-eyed at Katara. Toph pointed at her and started to laugh. Then everybody started to laugh. Confused, Katara looked down at herself. She was no longer wearing her wedding dress, but instead a hideous servant’s outfit. Katara was horrified. Everybody laughed at her, including her father and Aang.
Katara couldn’t help but start to cry. Rain started to pour down as she turned and started to run away. Somebody stuck out their foot and tripped her. She fell into the mud in front of her. The people laughed even harder. She cried out in frustration and heartbreak.

That was when she woke up.
Katara ran out of cama and into the bathroom. She locked herself in and she went to the mirror. She didn’t have mud on her face, and she was still in her sleeping clothes. Her cheeks were flushed. Katara knew it was all a dream, but she couldn’t help but feel humiliated.
She got dressed quickly and ran downstairs. She nearly bumped into Aang on the way.
“Whoa! Someone’s in a rush!” Aang teased.
Katara looked at him weirdly and didn’t answer.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
“Do…Would you laugh at me if I was dressed suddenly like a servant?” Katara asked.
This time it was Aang’s turn to give her a strange look.
“Don’t ask. Just answer my question,” Katara said, noticing his confusion.
“No. No, I wouldn’t,” Aang answered, scratching his bald head.
“Thank you,” She told him.
Then Aang moved out the way and let her walk by.

“Do we have everything packed and ready to go?” Katara asked.
They were outside now with Appa and they just finished putting everything on the saddle.
“Yup,” Sokka answered. “But, man. This is so weird packing up for another adventure.”
“No kidding,” Aang said as his pet Momo flew onto his shoulder. “I was just starting to get used to not preparing for battles every second.”
“Hey! You’re the one who wanted us to come along, Twinkletoes,” Toph pointed out.
“She’s right,” Katara said. “And, remember, we’re doing this to help find Zuko’s mom. You guys don’t have to come along, but I do. Zuko’s business is my business.”
Katara turned to Zuko and smirked at him in an I-got-your-back way. Zuko smirked and nodded in return.
“Well, I guess we should go now,” Sokka announced.
Katara, Aang, Sokka, Toph and Suki got on Appa’s back. Zuko got on Appa’s head and said, “Yip! Yip!”
Appa took off and went high in the sky. Katara looked back at their fogo Nation home. She wondered how long will it take to see it again, and how changed everything will be when she does.
