Arctic Sea, 7:08 a.m.
The com links crackled in Fin's ears, and Delta's voice scrached out from the headset. "Any luck?" Fin sighed. "Delta, I'm not even there yet! And you just called me? Don't you gave something better to do like, oh, I don't know, keep Dad from finding out that I stole his goddamn jet?!?!" She could imagine her sister grinning widely from ear to ear, but her vision changed when in her left ear, Aisling's nervous voice gave three horridly scary words.
"Yeah... about that..."
Fin winced as batman came onto her left ear, and Robin onto her right.
"What the hell do you-"
"Are you insane? Do you not-"
"Against direct orders-"
"You could die! That's not something the rest of us-"
"Hijacking the Batjet, misuse of communication-"
"And then you had Delta and Aisling to help you!"
Never trust your sister or best friend with a secret, Fin thought. Then a screen popped in front of her with batman and the team standing there. "SHIT!" She pulled the brakes on the jet, then realized she'd just cussed in front of both batman and Kaldur. "Um..." she blushed, "I said shoot?"
Delta, back in her right ear, began to cough harsly. If Fin hadn't known any better, it would've seemed as if she had a sore throat, but she did know better. Delta was covering her little cackle. Beoch.
"Infinity, League sensors are tracking you at this very moment. Do you have any idea where you are right now?" Batman's deep voice questioned.
"Costa Rica?" Fin smirked, noting happily the confused expressions on Delta and Aisling's faces.
"No, you are in- oh. Forgive me, Fin," Kaldur spoke up. "You are currently in Costa Rica. Do you require assistance?"
Fin softly giggled. "Nope, Kaldur, I'm alright. Just wanted to get away. I'll be back eventually." Kaldur nodded, batman sighed, and Robin expressed his worry in a look that said, Be careful. Then the screen shut off, and Fin looked down. Where there had once been dark, choppy waters was now blankets of Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante white.
"I'm here, Nate. And I've finally realized that I'm not doing this for the team. This is our segundo chance."
