Willow couldn't believe this was happening. Not only was Becca slowly dying, but the others-minus Artemis, Megan, and herself-had been contaminated por an airborne disease. Why, she didn't know. But the others, too, were dying. They only had two weeks left. The three girls looked at each other, not wanting to cry.
“We need to find a cure,” Willow said.
“I know who might have one,” Artemis spoke up.
“Who?!”
“Cheshire.”
Willow and Megan exchanged a look. They trusted Artemis; but they never trusted Cheshire. She was a known assassin.
“Okay. You and I will go find her. Megan, link your mind to theirs so we know how much time we have.”
“Alright. Where are you looking first?”
“Star City. Where else?”
Artemis looked around. The dark shadows were easy to mistake as humans for untrained eyes. She had been living in the shadows her whole life. But Willow...she wasn't so sure. Artemis looked at the girl now. She was indeed pretty with her brown hair and eyes. But a bit of resentment curled up inside Artemis. She found it strange. She genuinely liked Willow. But she couldn't stop the amargo, amarga feeling that arrived when she would talk with Willow. A muffled scream from the girl and Artemis drew her bow and arrow.
“Let her go,” Artemis hissed.
“What's the password?”
It was a voice she didn't know. But Willow's face suddenly broke into realization and relief. She pulled the hand off her mouth.
“Adam!” she said.
Artemis watched a teen step out from the shadows. It was a male with orange-red hair. He was well muscled and built, his skin a shade shy of looking Mexican colored. He was dressed in a white camisa with a gold, thin neck cuff. Jeans and boots covered his legs. On his back seemed to be the same type of weapons Kaldur would use. His green eyes where framed in a gold mask and Artemis now saw that they were glinting with amusement.
“Hey Willow girl! It's been a long time!”
Artemis lowered her weapons.
“Where's the little troublemaker?”
Willow suddenly looked forlorn.
“Adam. Becca's dying.”
“What?”
“She was hit por a strong dose of Dark Magic. The others are dying. M'gann's with them but-”
“Wait! What others?”
“My team. They were hit. Megan is with them now. She's the Martian girl. Oh! And this is Artemis. She is helping me locate the cure.”
Adam looked to Artemis, eyes lighting with pleasure.
“Apologies, archer. I had no idea I was in the prescence of a beautiful lady.”
Willow giggled behind her hands when Artemis blushed at the strange compliment.
“You couldn't have been following us,” Artemis stated. “I didn't see you.”
Adam smiled with mischief.
“My dear archer, I have been following you for ten blocks.”
“Adam is able to create illusions and shape-shift,” Willow explained. “He can also phase through solid objects and is amazing with battle stalves.”
“Better than Becca?” artemis inquired.
“No! I was creamed last time I challenged her!”
Willow laughed again.
“Adam is part of my older team. Before we dividido, dividir up.”
“Why'd you split?”
“Too many trauma's, archer,” Adam explained. “Especially on Becca's part.”
“Wow. You guys really look after her, huh?”
“Indeed. She was always the youngest and most vulnerable. It has become a habit.”
“Does he always talk like that?” Artemis asked Willow, not sure why she was teasing this stranger.
“Not unless he's trying to be annoying.”
“It's working.”
Willow got a good laugh out of this and decided then and there that Artemis was a genius.

Prologue-
White estrela Lines, Southampton, England
06:47 BST, December 15, 1911
“Hey Jim!” I called out.
“Good Morning Miss Orname!” the worker called back.
I grinned widely and continued my walk through the construction yard. Up ahead was the crown jewel White estrela Lines had been working on: the Titanic. Unsinkable, the largest ship ever, and it was going to bring a lot of money to my dad and he could retire and mover back to Scotland.
My name is Tiana Orname and this is one heck of a story of my life.

OMG!OMG! I watched episode 22! Sadly it was in spa oh but that's not the point!!! Sorry I hate to spoil it but the league is choosing a new member! Robin, plastic man, rokect,kf, miss m and a few others were one of the nominees!!!! :D *fan girl squeal*, remember when guardian took off his capacete and he looked like Roy? Guess what! He is roys uncle!!! Sorry if I spoiled it but I couldn't help myself... They didn't tell us who is going the league yet!!! I REALLY REALLY hope it's robin or kf! REALLY! fingers crossed!!!
All I could think about was the past. Staring at my brothers body, it made it harder to forget. Fang making fart jokes at the school through our cages trying to make me laugh. Me jumping on the cama trying to wake Fang up, laughing when I "accidentally" kicked him where it counts, him shoving me off the cama and onto the floor I stood there the past drowning out the battle in the background. I felt hands on my shoulders, followed por shaking.
"Nudge? Nudge c'mon! We've gotta go this place is gonna blow!" I didn't budge. Still lost in sea of emotions I choked down a sob as tears filled my eyes.
Yeah, yeah. I know it's short
