SORRY IT'S LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And short.
The footsteps coming towards him made him look up. She walked over, a grim look on her face but a relieved look in her brown eyes. He ran a hand through his silver hair and stood. He looked over his shoulder, but the other boy was gone.
“Where did-”
“Probably off to find clues on Blade.”
He nodded and looked back at her.
“Well?”
“She's doing alright. They say it could have been worse if she was under there longer.”
“Okay but...how bad is she?”
“They say she had blunt force trauma to the head. She lost blood and won't wake up soon but maybe in a few weeks. She also has a broken leg.”
He sighed, eyes closing and hit his head against the wall.
“First Silver and now her. I can't protect anyone I care about.”
“Look, normally I wouldn't say this, but your the best damn thing that ever happened to her. If you blame yourself, you may loose her.”
The thought of seeing her but not being with her made his coração ache strongly. He nodded again and tried to push the guilt from his mind. She must have noticed because she put a hand on his head.
“You saved her. Don't forget that. And she won't either.”
He gave a small smile.
“You're not used to comforting people, are you?”
She gave a small laugh.
“Not at all.”
She would have said more, but the doctor came to give them some surprising news.
