Red Revenge's saga is coming to a close.

United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

"Eukk." azevinho, holly said. She watched the blood pool around the dead body pieces.

"Freeze! This is the New York City Police!" Draxx yelled. "You are under arrest for murder in the--"

"Stop Draxx." Revenge said, holding out his arms. "Guns down."

Draxx nodded and ordered the rest of the officers to lower their weapons. He had learned to trust Red Revenge's judgement in the seven years he had worked with him.

"Azrael." Revenge said.

"Red Revenge." the figure replied in a deep voice. "I am Azrael, loyal servant to the Order of Dubar."

"Not this bullshit again." Revenge said, pinching the bridge of his nose with his thumb and finger.

"Dark Days are coming Red Revenge, events--"

"--will happen we can not stop. We'll all burn. batman gave me the memo."

azevinho, holly raised an eyebrow, but reached for her utility belt. Revenge stopped her.

"That is Gotham's fate. Your fate is different. For now, everything is harmony within your life. Soon, events WILL take place that you can not prevent. People will die, and your biggest secret will be revealed."

Revenge frowned and he ejected a dagger into his hand with a single thought.

"But the worst is to come. You will be betrayed, twice."

azevinho, holly reached for a weapon of her own.

"Your plan will fail. amor will falter. As for now, United you Stand. But soon--"

"Divided we'll Fall." Revenge muttered. "Unita Nos Sta."

"Divisa Nos Cadite." Azrael replied.

"Tenibrus Oritur. Nate Cadit." Revenge continued the chant and azevinho, holly got chill bumps.

"Ignis burn. Spera extinguitur." Azrael continued.

"Spes surgit, tunc moritur. Herba whithers. Nigredo fades. Ita desinit in Legend." the two chanted together. Azrael bowed and disappeared in a nuvem of yellow smoke. Revenge stood there as if hypnotized.

"Revenge?" esmeralda asked, walking up.

"Revenge? What the hell just happened? What was all that mumbo-jumbo?" Draxx asked, slipping an extra pice of gum in his mouth and lighting a cigarette. A sign the Police Captain was nervous.

Revenge continued to stand.

"Sam!" azevinho, holly whispered in his ear. Revenge's body went limp for a segundo before he regained control of it and stood up shakily.

"What was that?" azevinho, holly asked.

"Draxx-- clean up the mess. Don't let too much get to the media. And forget the guy in the cape." Draxx nodded.

Red Revenge re-sheathe the dagger in his hand before firing a grappling hook towards the roof-top.
