Elsa : Class 4 mutant? 

I love how much thought people put into this. If it's energy manipulation then there's some possible Summers blood in there. Maybe one of their ancestors? And technically if it manifests at birth aren't they considered similar but not quite mutants? Either way if she was one of the first appearances of homo superior it would make sense that she doesn't follow all the rules of mutantdom.

I'm not sure, since Kurt's obviously began manifesting at birth and he is classified as a mutant, but I DO know that they are completely fucking with most of the characters origins and making them half human, half angel/alien/whatever other crap they can come up with. I know Betsy was one of those who just recently came up into that.

Anyway, Elsa's powers still didn't emerge in their full form until she was a bit older, sort of like they were triggered by something or she's, like, an omega mutant, which would make sense. If she's related to Summers, Grey, or Drake, each has their fair share of powerful omega descendants besides the fact that she was brought up in a much different atmosphere than even Erik or Charles were, being born in the time she was, so that could have effected her mutation as well.

They're pulling a Micheal Bay on us. "Fuck it they're aliens now."

She does seem pretty powerful so it is possible. I mean look at someone like Hope whose powers manifest subconsciously when they're young and they gain more control over them at a later date. Of course in the beginning Elsa could control herself. It wasn't until her parents made her hide it that she lost control. But again she wouldn't be the first mutant whose powers manifested early.
