composição literária Pergunta

I need help with my character? I'll give props!

I'm composição literária a story, and one of my character's father abuses her. She has two younger brothers that she takes care of and loves very much, who are not abused. I'm not sure if her mother should know or not, so I need help with that too. She's being put in a mental hospital for a few months for trying to commit suicide, so the outcome doesn't have to be something that happens quickly.

Should her mother divorce her father, and she gets to stay with her mother and brothers?

Should she be put in a foster home?

Should she live with her best friend and her parents, who lost a daughter due to childhood cancer?

Which of these do you like best? Or if you have another idea, please let me know. Thank you very much! :)

This is not the whole plot of the story; it's just a minor part in the story.

Hm well how does her father abuse her? if it like hes beating her then maybe DHS investigates and shes put in a foster início but if hes like sexually abusing her and her mother knows then maybe when shes in the mental hospital shes working through that and helps other patients along the way really either way opens up several things you could do with the story :)

I think the first two may be a mais interesting way to continue with your story.

If your main character's mother does file a divorce from her father, and stays with her and younger brothers, you could make it seem as if the father plans to return and get revenge or something similar to that. You can even make them all take the abusive father to court. Try to get him into jail or something. Then again, there is always the difficulty of being a single mother taking care of three children. That will be a big part of the storyline of how do they get by.

If your character is put into a foster home, there are many possibilities of what may become. Maybe the main character and younger brothers all get sent to different foster homes. Your main character may want to run away, find her brothers and try to start a new life. Or maybe she wants to play safe, stay in foster care until she turns 18, then begins her procurar of her brothers. And what will become of the parents in this situation? Do they just not care? Is the mother looking for them?

And being put into the mental hospital for trying to commit suicide is an interesting aspect to have within the character. Is she still fighting inner demons? Is her mind functioning properly? Has she developed some kind of new power? Is she still suicidal? *Sorry if you don't like making religion a big deal, but I think it does matter* Does she belive in God? If so, is she still faithful? Or has she lost hope?

Sorry if you think this is a bit much. Haha. Good luck with your story! :)

Oh, and whether you choose if the mother knows about the abusing, it will make an interesting part of the story. If she knows and doesn't care to stop it, she can be helping the father. Or if she is not aware of this, finds out and is horrified, she will want to keep her children safe.

Maybe she could try and run away from the mental hospital, with help from other patients. She could be worried that her father may start abusing her brothers and mother now that she is gone. Or perhaps she could turn her father into the police, no one belives her, so she is trying to prove the abuse to everyone.

I think that the mother should be naive/heavily religious, so that she notices the fact that the father is abusive but still loves him enough to stay with him.
The daughter could leave to stay with a friend for a short while but begins having terrible nightmares about the abuse and cannot concentrate in school (how old is she?). After a while this becomes too much and she tries to commit suicide (try to make it tragic: poison or hanging). This is where she ends up in a mental hospital.

I think the character should continue to live with her father, and the character should stand up for him/herself, so that the story is mais exciting, and readers get a chance to have mais attention on the story.
