windwakerguy430 The Albino Death RP

Windwakerguy430 posted on Jun 28, 2018 at 12:03AM
Years have passed since the fighting had occurred. The Capital has fallen. Faith in The Ancient Ones is fading. Edrain is a country lost to the monsters. Those that could escape, left to the bordering countries, taking the plague with them. And with the plague, a new rise of monsters. New abominations that would attack the people. And amongst the remains of the kingdom of Edrain, the Servants now overtake the land, and attack the few that were too stubborn to leave or had nowhere else to go. Within those years, technological advancements were made. More powerful guns were created, and even automobiles were starting to be created, but the beliefs of the old, though not as great as before, remained. But with the word of this new God appearing in the people's ears, the Ancient Ones ideas slowly began to die out, with only few loyal subjects. And the threat of a new evil had brought itself upon the world. What will you do in this new age?

Classes - Hunters come in many different classes, each with different pros and cons

Mercenary - Better with larger blades and has stronger defense. Not as respected by townsfolk

Soldier - Best with firearms. Not very fast or agile

Traveller - Easier to get discounts in shops and can earn better. Not the best fighter

Thief - More stealthy than others, much faster and quicker dodges. Low defense

Bandit - powerful attacks and can wield heavy weapons. The slowest Hunter. Hated by townsfolk

Hunter - Can climb better and is better at using firearms. Has low defense

Alchemist - Can heal himself and is more powerful against magic. Terrible with weapons

Psychopath - Casts long lasting fire damage and can take more damage. Weak with weapons

Priest - Heals others within a group and is better at shielding himself. Does not fight at all

~NEW CLASSES~

Crusader - Has the fighting capabilities of a soldier and the miracles of a priest. Their behavior makes them ignored by some cities, while magic users outright despise them and their poor use of priest magic

Knights - Slow, heavy, impossible to dodge. Best sword fighters and has high respect from the people

Pirates - Has quick access to travelling the seas. Capable of sword and gun combat. Always hunted by enforcers of order

Ninjas - Stealthy, good with swords and projectile weapons, highly likely to lose if outnumbered

Fighters - Refuse to use weapons of any kind. Capable of fighting and even killing with their bare fists. Highly respected by any fighter. Not respected by priests or alchemists

Rules:
Do not kill anyone’s character without permission
Do not create overpowered and flawless characters
Do not make problems vanish with the snap of a finger
Do not steal other characters ideas
If you have an idea, feel free to ask
Have fun

*Rosemary gave him an agreeing nod* I don't really have a lot of people to trust. I guess I can make some room for more trustworthy folks. *She turned to Judissia* Ready to head out when you are

Helga didn't add on to anything like she would normally do, instead looking around as she waited her turn again to wash her hands for the second time now. She winced slightly when the soap and water came in contact with her bleeding fingers, quickly rinsing them and drying them the same way. The witch patiently awaited Bonnus to open the glass door as she stood by it.
over a year ago -Universe_COLA- said…
A pair of gloves was threw into Helga's face as well before Bonnus went to the glass door, which was actually more so like a mirror. She whispered something and then clicked her tongue. The glass shattered in an inwards motion, but there was nothing to indicate that it had actually shattered left behind. She stepped through the space, the inside of it leading into a wide enough glass cylinder with a metal top and bottom.

Wiezen finished pulling on his other glove before he also entered the space, tucking away the folder of papers for the time being.

~

Judissia climbed onto the saddle of her horse, narrowing her eyes at Weiss as they started off. "We're heading to Camelynn. Anything we should know before we're out and about?"

"Yeah, there is. And that's that I wouldn't advise going there. Before I left Owensport to escort Wein, there were soldiers being stationed there for recruitment." Weiss answered.

"Shit." Judissia cursed to herself. "Then we're heading west. No point in running into the bastards if we can avoid them all together."

*Rosemary gave a nod before she spoke up* What kind of cities will we find if we go west?

Helga caught the pair of gloves in midair before it even came in contact with her face, not even having to look at the direction it was coming from. Her ears drooped further down as she slid them on, stretching her fingers some. The witch's eyes fell on Wiezen for a moment, staring at him silently for quite a minute before she followed Bonnus into the cylinder.

"It's not about what cities we'll find, it's more of WHAT we'll find once we get to that side of things. Or rather who." Judissia answered. And then she looked over at Weiss when she heard him speak.

"That's good. That's where my family is. People that I'm familiar with." Weiss stared ahead of them. "There's a small city around the area called Pirereri, named the Town of the Wolves. Decent folk. A place to stop by."

"Pirereri? What's supposed to be there?" Judissia asked skeptically.

"Information."

~

Bonnus tapped her foot impatiently while waiting for everyone else to get into the cylinder. Once everyone was, the glass that had shattered seemed to reform over the entrance way, taking them into total darkness for a few seconds.

A green light came on from the ceiling, and the cylinder suddenly dropped, plummeting down towards its destination, flashes of white light beaming through the crevices of the tunnel that they were falling through.

*Once they were finished, she turned toward Weiss and spoke* Whatever it is, it's a destination. We'll take whatever we can get for now, Weiss

Helga's head raised to view the green light, perking her ears in slight interest before they drooped again. But as soon as the cylinder plummeted, she shrieked as her eyes shot open, her body instinctively going into a crouch. Her legs were crooked and each hand of hers gripping the sides of the cylinder in fear. She shivered lightly, slowly realizing it was just a new form of technology she was not aware of. Although, she didn't dare stand up for the rest of the way down. Or rather, she couldn't.

"I know." Weiss looked over at her. "With things heading in the direction that they're going in, I wouldn't doubt for one second that we're going to be involved regardless."

"What the hell's that supposed to mean? Get involved in what exactly?" Judissia asked.

"Figures you haven't heard. The swine of Owensport have been keeping things under wrap for some time now. But there is going to be a pillage unlike anything you've ever seen."

~

Wiezen and Bonnus didn't really react to the cylinder's drop, mostly due to the fact that they were both used to it. Wiezen had been there enough times to expect the sudden drop, though his jaw tightened for a few seconds.

Bonnus on the other hand kept an expression of tepidness while they were falling towards the next destination, removing her glasses from the breast pocket of her lab coat and sliding them onto her face.

The cylinder started to slow to a stop, and what sounded like steam being release filled the air along with the grinding of gears until it finally stopped. The door opened up and Bonnus and Wiezen stepped into the next link where numerous contraptions and glass containers filled with light rested around them. Some of the containers of glass were shaped like light bulbs and were filled with a flowing yellow aura, just as the ones that flowed from the ceiling were.
over a year ago Windwakerguy430 said…
A pillage? Is this all part of Wein's plan? *She spoke in a stern tone to Weiss* Weiss, do you have any knowledge of what is going to happen?
over a year ago cosmic_fusions said…
Helga's legs trembled, struggling to get up once the cylinder came to a stop. She wobbled her way out of "elevator", a light shiver going down her spine. This contraption seemed weird to her and wondered how the others weren't fazed by it. Once the witch got out, her eyes fell around the variety of containers surrounding her and Wiezen, her left ear twitching in curiosity as she sniffed. "Stunning..." She mumbled.
over a year ago -Universe_COLA- said…
"More or less." Weiss looked ahead of them. "I've caught wind of some of what's going from my time back and forth between Owensport and neighboring countries. The Wein Dynasty are plotting, and a few of the kingdoms I've heard involved were the Fre Kingdom and Effecia, the Clockwork Kingdom. My guess on it is that it's going to be some sort of invasion maybe. Whatever they're scheming, it's big. A month or two ago there were chunks of some sort of material being lugged in from outside the country, import under the surveillance of noble guards. Not only that, but Nadas himself is going after the Crown of Thorns. Putting two and two together...the outcome is going to be catastrophic."

"Any idea of what they were bringin' it in for?" Judissia asked, her attention invested in the conversation.

"From what I've gathered from digging around in places I shouldn't have, its a bunch of pieces to some sort of weapon." Weiss rubbed his chin.

~

"Touch nothing." Bonnus said sharply from ahead of them, coming to a stop. She turned and looked to Wiezen. "You. In." She said, pointing at the large entry way ahead of them, a faint glow coming from within. She then turned to Helga. "You. Stay. SS--T-AAAY." She broke down the word and emphasized it to ensure that it got to Helga's head. She acted as if the witch couldn't comprehend the single word. And if you asked her, she probably didn't.

Wiezen muttered something about Bonnus being a bitch while he headed towards the entrance with her following behind him.

"I already heard you..." Helga interrupted Bonnus's emphasizing of the word. Her attention immediately left hers and went to Wiezen's as he walked in the entrance. "I-I'll be here, Wiezen! Waiting for thee... Everything's going to be okay! Stay strong!" Her ears perked lightly, her hands cupping each other as she watched him leave. Her lips trembled into some sort of smile for her husband in reassurance. "I-I'm with thee in spirit!" She reminded him in case he felt lonely or scared.
over a year ago -Universe_COLA- said…
"And die trying." Weiss commented dully. "This isn't some walk through the park where you can just pick and choose who you want to kill, Rose. The Wein's have their hands deep in politics with the strings in their grasps. You kill him, two things are happening. You will never see the day of light in your life again, or you will be killed. The last thing you want is to be a target. They have armies, nations behind them and advancing weaponry at their disposal. Don't be reckless."

Judissia was silent for a moment, running her hand through her hair as the situation settled down heavier in her mind.

~

Bonnus had turned and followed behind Wiezen, pressing a button that was on the wall on the inside. A loud buzz was heard when Helga had started speaking to Wiezen, drowning out the majority of her words until it finally came to a stop.
"Strip down. Thou are getting into the container so that I may start my analysis."

"If you stick me with that damn needle ONE MORE TIME--" Wiezen could be heard as they ventured further into the next area, leaving the bright white light from the inside to illuminate onto the other side.

Helga tapped her fingers harder, her ears twitching to the last few of Wiezen's words before he ventured further in.

You're going to be okay... I love thee... A whisper was heard in Wiezen's head before the witch gulped. She looked around the room some, observing the containers and exactly what they contained. Though, as told, she did not touch anything nor moved.... barely.
over a year ago Windwakerguy430 said…
Ha! Assuming we aren't targets already. That's all I've been hearing about this whole time *She crossed her arms, before grabbing hold of the reigns again*
over a year ago -Universe_COLA- said…
"And if you've been hearing it the entire time, your first thought is to make yourself an even bigger target by doing something stupid? Go into Owensport and think it will be easy game killing one of the members of one of most known noble families throughout the nations without conequence?" Weiss snapped at her, but calmly. "Think. There is no way possible that that could be done without the entire country on our necks. Not without some serious help on both the outside and the inside."

~

Two stared at the empty vial in her hands, a frown on her face as her eyes averted to the hand held mirror in her possession, now appearing as she had when she had first approached Helga. Her eyes were teary, her hand rotating and turning the mirror to its opposite side to where her reflection could no longer be seen.
Her eyes wondered to the bars that surrounded her bed before she left her room, going downstairs and heading to where she knew the others had gone by now. The place that she always went for her physical check ups and to have checkpoint tests, as Professor called them, to see her progress. Progress on what, she did not know.
over a year ago cosmic_fusions said…
Helga snuck another scoop of peanut butter while she was alone in that room, quickly closing the jar and placing it back into her bag. Her tongue indulged in the thick cream as she slowly walked around the area, careful to not touch anything while she was at. She decided to touch with her eyes and not her hands in case she broke anything.

*Rosemary gave a tired sigh, her eyes forward. The thought of Weiss being right for once, when she was so used to him being wrong as a kid, it upsetted a part of her, but it made her feel some joy to see he has grown up, if a bit of a difficult one*
over a year ago -Universe_COLA- said…
"So in all," Judissia spoke up now, "How do you propose we go about this? Because I'll be damned if you think that we're just gonna roll over and let some snobby little rich cuck kill us off."

"The Crown." Weiss's grasp on his horse's rein was relaxed as he went into a explanation. "That's what Wein is after. He hasn't gotten all of the pieces--"

"Which means that what, we need to get them first, right?" Judissia cut in, filling in the rest of his sentence. "Where the hell do we even start? That things been out of the picture for millennia!"

"If Wein can find them, we should be able to as well with the right information and clues as to where to look. That's why we're going to Pirereri. Me and...a small throng have been on our own search. I've taken to looking into any lore that I could find on the damn thing, and it hasn't gone without its tips."

~

As Helga looked around, she would start seeing that some of the glass containers were labeled, and when approached the bubbling smoke on the inside dispersed to reveal things such as pixie essence or pieces of creatures used as a sample. Witch skins. Animal furs. Beast genitalia and patches of flesh. Trapped dragon fire, explosive in nature.
But there were also contraptions that looked as if they played music, along with large and small strongboxes.

The witch's hands kept themselves behind her back as she licked her lips, swallowing the last spoon of peanut butter she had stuffed her mouth with. Her eyes wandered around the containers, observing the things that were held inside and reading what was labeled. She had never seen such level of organization besides, well, herself when it came to ingredients. She felt the urge to touch a few things, like those that looked as if they played music. But Helga knew better and kept herself a distance from them.

Judissia and Weiss looked at one another at the same time, Judissia shrugging and Weiss shaking his head as the both took their reins up into their hands, getting their horses into a small trot.

"We need keep out of sight. While we're in towns, our main objectives is to not be seen by anyone that might be in leagues with Owensport in even the smallest of ways." Weiss said.

"Yeah yeah, we know that part and we do pretty good on keeping out of sight without you telling us." Judissia waved it of nonchalantly.

"Which is why you both were caught by me, correct?" Weiss questioned with a plain expression, though he was satisfied at the look that Judissia had given him at his remark.

~

As Helga continued to look around the place, there was one container in particular that wasn't labeled at all. And more, there was a faint glow that radiated from behind the mist that fogged it. From it, it faint hint to Original magic fluttered in a nearly invisible outline around it. One that was almost like a calling.

"M-my magic?" Two stared at the container, venturing closer to it. "But..but how? Mine stopped working and.." She was completely hypnotized by the warmth from the magic for a moment. But as she reached her hand out to touch it, green spread quickly across her fingertips and over her fingers, causing her to yank her hand away and stumble back onto her behind. Two couldn't take her eyes off of the dimly glowing container, her mind filling with the brim with Helga's words. That was...her magic? Was it truly hers? She knew that what she felt from the magic wasn't evil. She could feel it deep down inside of her. And she knew that she herself wasn't evil, no matter what color it turned her....at least she hoped that was the case.
"I-I...I don't know..." Her fingers tapped together from her place on the floor.

"A run for an exit by yourself, an exit heavily guarded with no inside help whatsoever. This is a prison where both men and women are shoved into once space that's divided by very little, a state of complete anarchy. A prison full of people who've done things that you couldn't imagine even in your nightmares." Weiss shook his head. "You're too soft. In order to survive within a place like that you have to become something worse."

"...How..would you know that exactly?" Judissia asked, her brows furrowing.

"I went there willingly so that I wouldn't hurt anyone that didn't deserve it." Weiss answered simply, his eye staring straight ahead of them as his horse trotted a bit faster. "I was taken out for that very reason. The Wein Dynasty thought that they would need someone like me specifically to escort Wein. That prison is where I got this." He said, pointing at his eyepatch. "It's a regulator."

Two's eyes lowered to the floor as she went to dig through her pocket, removing a link that almost covered her entire palm. She rubbed her thumb across it's smooth surface, her eyes tearing up as she opened it, her eyes landing on the picture of the woman within it, her mind going back to what Alzulla had said about she and Helga.
"Ms. Helga, if...if you were my mother...you would tell me..right? R-right?" She said, staring down at the picture.

She paused, her jaw clenching in memory of Emma. "...A-And... two that I never saw again twenty years ago." The witch blinked, not realizing her eyes had begun to tear up. She gave a light sniffle and shook her head some, her attention being caught by the locket Two held. "That's... That's a pretty necklace..."

Two's hopes began to sink further and further while she listened to Helga speak, a few tears dropping from her eyes. She sniffled, her eyes never leaving the picture within her locket when Helga commented on on it. "Th-thank you...Professor gave it to me..so I would at least know what my mother looks like. Sh-she...she looks like you.." She said, muttering the last part. "A-and..she looks like me..and Alzulla said that I look a bit like you and...and..I just..don't...KNOW." For a moment, a powerful sensation of magic swarmed within her before disappearing in an instance.

The glass container vibrated very slightly in the same moment that it had happened, the light behind the fog brightening just a little until it dimmed back down.

Two finally brought her eyes up to Helga's and held out the locket from where she was. "W-would..you like to see her?" She asked nervously, her eyes not meeting Helga's.

"I-It's okay..." The witch's back felt the vibration of the container from above, her facial expression softening before she checked the glowing light was secured. She slid back down on the ground, her eyes going back to Two's before she gave a small nod. "Of course, I'd love to..."

Two held the locket close to her while she scooted closer to Helga, holding it as if she would die if she let go of it. The locket was like a sacred treasure to her, the only indication that she had of a past of some sort. The only thing that she had to tell her that she had come from somewhere. It comforted her in all of her times of doubt as she lived not knowing who she was exactly. Even her name was something that she was skeptical about.

She bit her lip some before holding the almost palm sized open locket out towards Helga cupped in her hands.
