Why aren't medicine gatos allowed 2 have kits? Y not even 1? I think dat's dumb. And why did Leafpool have kits when she knew it was wrong? Wouldn't someone notice her having her kits?

Maybe cause they want the medicine cat to take care of the clan more. If they had kits, they would have to suckle them, preventing them from doing their duties.

Medicine gatos are supposed to be entirely dedicated to their clan, so if they urso kits, they forfeit that dedication. If you read the two Warriors Field Guides, Yellowfang will speak of her story, and how she hid her pregnancy from her clan.

If medicine gatos had kits, they would have to sit in the nursery and couldn't devote attention to the Clan unless they had an apprentice to take over. I think if a med cat gets pregnant, they should appoint a helper. They should have the same chances as any other cat in my opinion. I have no ideas how no one could notice Leafpool and her kits.

THat is a stupid rule. Medicine gatos are gatos too and deserve to have kits and mates. Also, Leafpool ate parsley to dry up her leite so no one would notice.

i guess because they would just think leafpool was getting fat and remember in one of the books i think it was Brambleclaw whao said she was looking kinda plump.

tha can't have kits cause it would distract them from their duties as a medicine cat! and Leafpool had kits cause she was in amor with Crowfeather and also StarClan TOLD her to follow her coração cause she was supposed to have them because if the prophecy! :3 :D

Medicine gatos aren't allowed to have kits because it would distract them from their work. If there was a cat dying in front of them, but their kit was injured, they would tend to their kit before the dying warrior. Leafpool didn't mean to have kits. The kits were punishment from StarClan to tell her that she shouldn't have fallen in amor with Crowfeather. Nobody noticed that she was having kits. Squirrelflight was with her when she kitted. When they got back to camp, they just said that Squirrelflight began her kitting when they were out and thank StarClan that Leafpool was with her. Nobody ever found out until Squirrelflight told Ashfur.

I think medicine gatos aren't alowed to have kits because they would have to nurse them and they wouldn't be able to help their Clan because of that.

acually in one of the books brumbleclaw notices she is getting plump like with the kits and yay she could not have the energy to help her clan or speack with starclan so msking her job too hard.

She-cat: She would be out of work for awhile, and always having to work with her kits. She would concentrate too much on her own kits, and not enough on the clan.

I have to agree but in the medicine cat code it says that Female AND male gatos aren't sopposed to have kits becuase it will distract them from their duties. Females would be in the nursery for like 7-8 moons and males would be in the nursery with the mother of his kits the whole time. Mudfur had an exception ( IN Crookedstar's promise) Brightsky had Mudfur's kits but she died and only one kit survided (Leapordstar)
and he didn't have a mate after that. ( Mudfur was a warrior before he became Brambleberry's apprentice.)

They would be busy if they were a queen with kits, no apprentice, and their medicine cat duties.
