I need something to laugh at to enjoy most games.
If the developer doesn't deliver it then I tend to look for glitches and unusual ways to play the game.

Then there are also unintentionally funny moments.
(like people who make puns on accident or sound like they are rapping)

every game should have a little humor in them because lots of people like laughing but not too much humor so it becomes boring

But remove the humor from Portal and you're left empty.

It depends what game it need humer. Mortal Kombat and Metal Gear Solid? No. Lego games and Portal? Yes.

Comedy video games are funny and filled with humor such as Dead Rising, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Earthworm Jim, Portal, etc.

Humor in games..well I haven't thought about it until now I don't think I mind whether a specific game has it or not but in some games it would make a nice addition.

I still enjoy some games without humour, but to be honest I much prefer ones with a nice helping of comedy in. ^^
