Why do people prefer Rose with Dimitri than with Adrian?

Don't get me wrong, I like Dimtri and Rose together, but I kinda think that Adrian is the better choice for Rose.

If Dimitri and Rose were end game it's like saying it's okay for a teacher and pupil to be together, not to mention Dimitri hasn't really treated Rose well.

He treated her horribely in the first two books because of the age difference and it being forbidden and only acknowledged his feelings in the third book.

Then in the fourth book he was strigoi and you know what happened.

In Spirit Bound he refused to see her because of what happened in the fourth book.

I just think he has caused nothing but pain for Rose. They haven't really been happy together EVER and I think that Adrian is the better choice for her because he actually understands her. Yeah at first he just wanted to get her into bed, but then he genuinely started to care for her and has helped her out so much. Remember he gave her the money to Rose to procurar for Dimitri, he kept track of whether she was alright por visiting her in her dreams etc.

I also think it would make mais sense for Adrian and Rose to be end game. He is also around the same age as her.

So anyway, I will stop now lol because otherwise I will end up in a larger essay as to why I think it would be better if Adrian and Rose were end game and just get to the point. If you want Dimitri and Rose to be end game, why exactly? Please can you tell me some valid reasons as to why? Also, sorry if this pergunta has been asked before, I'm really curious! lol...xD

I really hope someone respostas because I don't know how dead this spot might be? lol...xD

princess_mimi I used to like Rose. Now I hate her. Dimitri and Adrian they both are too good for Rose.

Belikovs_Girl I honestly don't know what Richelle will choose to do, because she tends to surprise me - but I know that I believe Dimitri and Rose should be together because of the undying loyalty and love they share. The only reason Dimitri was "mean" to Rose in the first books was because he was trying to deny his feelings for her because of the whole teacher pupil dilemma. He couldn't deny it in the end because the life and death situations that gardians face on a day-to-day basis don't allow that luxury. I believe that those life/death experiences are enough to force anyone to admit their true feelings eventually. And we were all there when he stood up to protect her in Spirit Bound, where he again tried to deny his feelings for her b/c he thinks he isn't good enough for her. Bottom line is that they love each other, but in a world where you constantly have to put others (Moroi) first, you will undoubtedly have some issues. Now, I'm not an Adrian hater either - I Love the guy. I think he has been awesome to Rose and that if Dimitri were Strigoi forever, or dead - I'd want them to be together. I guess I just ultimately like Dimitri better... I think it really has to do with the reader, and what you find more attractive in a guy (real or fictional).

edwardsgirlxx I think you raise some really good points hun, and i think what really draws me to Rose & Dimitri is there chemistry, which to me is a lot deeper that Rose & Adrian's. Also, the element of forbidden love, that they really shouldn't be together, i think is another quality that draws me to them. They love eachother in a way that Rose & Adrian don't. Although Adrian may love Rose that much, I don't think Rose does on the same scale. I also am not an Adrian hater though, on his own i think he's a GREAT Character :) I also feel sorry for him - He loves Rose, and as much as she is supposedly "giving him a chance" Dimitri will always be there. But in my opinion, in terms of couples I love Rose & Dimitri :) Hope that answered you okay :)

katie15 The question is, is Dimitri good for her ;) I love Rose too! I don't get why people aren't liking her? She's made some mistakes, but even if you hate Dimitri and Rose, she's doing the stuff she's doing for love. She isn't intentionally trying to hurt anymore, particularly Adrian etc.

morganmayhem12 i believe dimitri is good for rose because there might be some parts in the series you've missed like those times rose doesnt need to explain herself because dimitri just knows things about her and vice versa... and he has never treated her horribly. in the first book he was only trying to be his hardcore guardian self but he faultered at times like when he thought rose was seriously injured when she fell off that bench and carried her to the nurse. then in frostbite he was still trying to do what was right because 'they come first' moroi come before your own needs... him and rose are supposed to be lissa's guardians. so he felt like he was neglecting his duty if he let himself love rose. but he couldnt help how much he cares for rose thats why you notice his defenses against her lower as the books progress. and eventually in shadow kiss he gives in to his feelings completely and tells her he wants them to be together and that he loves her. he then gets turned into a strigoi and you so CANNOT blame dimitri

morganmayhem12 for his actions. he lost his soul, his morals, everything he lived for. and then once he got changed back into a dhampir he felt so completely overwhelmed with guilt about everything he did but felt especially guilty about what he did to rose so he doesnt want to forgive himself and thinks rose deserves much and fears he would only cause her more pain so he puts up his defenses again and tries to hide his feelings for rose but they slowly begin to come down again at the very end of spirit bound when he tries to protect her from the guardians. and that right there should prove to all you guys that no matter what happens they were meant to be together. sorry adrian :/

Babygirl92 Omg! Thank you Morgan. You said exactly what I was going to. It's not Dimitris' fault for what he did in BP, he already explained he had no control over himself - like he was watching someone else use his body like a puppet. It was more of a play then anything. And Rose. She hasn't done TOO many things wrong - they were for love - no matter how stupid. I don't see the reason to hate her. I didn't like her that much in SB but I don't hate her an think she should be alone forever. Adrians' a good guy, but I don't want him with Rose. They aren't meant to be. They don't have the same thing Rose and Dimitri do.

xochristina @morganmayhem12 - you just put almost all my thoughts into words. THANK YOU! Dimtiri and Rose love and understand eachother so much, and even though theyve had problems, as a reader (for me anyway), you want to see them work it out and end up together. And its almost like theyre soulmate (whatever if that sounds cheesy lol), they just belong together. Even though Im team dimitri, im not saying i hate adrian. actually, i love the guy! i know they he genuinely cares for her &I think he loves her, and i WANT him to be happy, just not with Rose. If dimitri were to have stayed strigoi forever or die, then yeah, obviously I'd want her with Dimitri. And about the whole teacher/pupil thing...im not saying that i condone it or anything, but at the same time, it IS a fictional novel (an amazing one at that), so for me anyways, real life ethical morals or whatever dont really come into play when it comes as to who i want rose to be with. And why do people hate rose? I dont get what shes done wrong...??

Twi_Artiste I really don't want Adrian/Rose to happen. I kinda liked him in Frostbite, Shadowkiss, and Blood Promise, but can't stand him in Spirit Bound. I think it's because he and Rose got together in that one, idk. Dimitri really loves Rose. He has hurt her, but he holds a lot of guilt. I feel that Dimitri's feelings are more genuine than Adrian's are at times. Even when Dimitri said his love has faded, it's obvious that his love is still there when he tries to protect her from the guardians and all in Spirit Bound. I never really bought into the whole notion that Dimitri's love faded anyway. I would either prefer Adrian with someone else or to die. (I know it sounds harsh but those are my feelings) AND as a bonus, I would've wanted Rose/Dimitri to happen even as Strigoi. As for the teacher/student relationship thingy, I don't condone that kind of thing in real life also. When I read a fictional novel that has it's intents on only entertaining the reader, I don't take the ethics thing to heart. Seven years difference personally doesn't bother me to be honest with you and apparently, it doesn't bother Rose either. And there is my epically long answer xD

bellalllll dimitri treats rose badly not coz he doesnt love her but bcoz he loves her more than nething in the world...he just want her to be happy ..he even excepts her relation with adrian and tell her that she should belong with him...but in case of adrian ..he hates dimitri, he does not want rose anywhere near dimitri,he didnot even liked the idea when she wanted to turn dimitri again in to dhampir..adrian here is just being selfish whereas dimitri is just caring for rose...and i will kill myself if rose ends up if adrian...she shouls better be alone rather than being eith adrian

When Twilight came out and started being noticed everyone was so into it and everywhere you went someone had something to say about the book. I mean whats not to love? Hot vampire and ordinary girl involved in a forbidden romance. (Not to mention ordinary girl's hot best friend who just so happens to be a werewolf.)
