It's just what I hope, it may not happen but it would be nice and Stephenie would like a happy ending for everyone I suppose. I hope he imprints on a new character =]

I have a feeling that imprinting was created for Jacob... so he can have his own mystical/need-to-be-with-one-another/addic­ted relationship. I believe it's only fair since he couldn't be with his, I suppose, 'human' soulmate. I could be wrong though, he could just get over her- but that would seem pretty odd to me[he fought to have her, and just got over her quickly] I don't think Jacob is that fickle.
So, unless he dies *D=*, I think he'll have a happy ending of his own. And we won't know what that will be until August 2nd.

*or we could have a cliffhanger of his story and then he could be in a fifth book *nervous laugh*

he said its the rare exception but after Quil imprinted they all started wondering whether its more common than they thought, so I think he will imprint, hopefulllly

i HOPE he does, i mean we still have Breaking Dawn to read, and anything could happen... i feel bad for jacob. he fell in love with bella and she still chose edward (which im incredibly happy about dont get me wrong)... i just want him to be able to move on and find someone so he can love, and be loved in return.

yeah i agree with hplotr91 I think imprinting is more common then they think or realize it is.
I feel pretty confident that Jacob will imprint, unless he dies, like cheergeek said. lol.
but i do not want him to die! that would be soo horrible.
I almost cried when charlie's friend died [i forget his name, maybe clearwater?], I would be a complete mess if jake died.

I think that the answers "I think Jacob will still imprint." and "Since Bella is taken, he may imprint somebody else." are very similar to one another, and they pretty much mean the same thing, seeing as he can't actually imprint on Bella.

A:If you remember, Jacob himself says it's possible that imprinting is more than just a rare happenstance.
B:Almost everyone else has, why can't he?
C:He should, cause it'd be terrible if he didn't and ended up alone.
