Chapter 17. (Edward)
There was a knock at the door. "Carlisle, Tanya and her family is here. Did they call you to tell you they were coming?" I called upstairs. He was down in a second. "No." He answered while walking to the door. "Tanya! So nice to see you again." Carlisle exclaimed. Tanya came in and hugged Carlisle then me. "It's good to see you again, too." While Carlisle was greeting the others Tanya pulled me out of the room. "I finally met Bella today. She's really nice but she smells like those cachorros that killed Laurant. Does she spend a lot of time with them? 'Cause that's like dangerous. And what is she doing in the woods alone?" I grimanced. She won't understand.
"Bella is a...a...a werewolf. Her and I found out today. We had know clue. And she wasn't alone she was with other wolves. They stay hidden incase they need to step in and take over. I guess they figured that since she is good friends with vampiros they will just send her to talk to you guys. So, um, what happened when you met her?" Tanya smiled. "I shook her hand and then she said 'I see your going to see the Cullen's. Tell them I said hi for me will you?' and I agreed." She hesitated before she yelled to everyone. "Bella said hi. I met her today." We walked back into the living room where everyone was.
"You saw Bella?" Emmett asked. "Is she coming here?" Tanya looked at her sister Kate. "She didn't mention that she was coming. But she was really nice and when she shook my hand she wasn't scared. I'm surprised that she didn't flinch. So should we invite her over?" Esme beamed. "I'll call her!" Alice said dancing towards the phone. She dialed the phone number really fast. Wait, that wasn't Bella's number. Someone picked up.
"Hello? Is this Billy?" Alice asked. "This is Alice. I was looking for Bella. Yes please. Thank-you." I could heard the smile in her voice. "Hi Bella! I, well, we were wondering if you would like to come over? Yes, the Denali's are here. Okay I guess that's fine. I'll see you soon. Bye." Alice hung up and was por myside smiling. "Bella is really happy to come over." Alice said before grabbing Jasper and heading to her room. 'When Bella gets here I'm gonna measure her so I can buy her clothes!' "Really Alice?" 'Yup!' I groaned.
"I'm gonna go hunt. Would anyone like to go with me?" Kate asked. Everyone went besides Emmett, Alice, Esme, Jasper, and myself. Someone knocked on the door. 'I'll get it' Emmett thought. Great. "Bella!" He exclaimed pulling her into a big urso hug. "Okay Emmett. Now where is everyone?" Oh, how her voice is so sweet. My coração would melt if it could. They came around the corner and her face lite up as if I made her day. What made my dia worst was Jacob followed behind her. Could they not trust us?
