She's EXACTLY how I imagined Alena. (:
CHAPTER ONE <3
“Wait, Lena’s coming back?” Seth Clearwater asked his sister, Leah. She rolled her eyes .
“Yes, Seth, Alena is coming back from Canada. Today.”
“Oh my God, your kidding!” He screamed. Alena Christiani was Seth’s best friend since diapers, before she moved to Canada a ano ago, just around when Seth changed. She was the most beautiful girl Seth had ever seen. She was pale, but not too pale, like Bella Swan. She had chocolate brown hair that was long and wavy. Her chocolate brown eyes were deep and beautiful. Seth had the tendency to get lost in them all the time. All together, Alena was beautiful.
“No, Seth. I’m not kidding.” He could tell his sister was annoyed. So he just smiled at her, and walked outside of the house. His coração was thumping with excitement.
He looked up, and saw Quill, Embry and Paul walking towards him. He nodded as if to say “hello.”
“What’s with the big smile, kid?” Paul asked. Seth tried to turn the corners of his mouth, but he was too excited, too happy.
Embry laughed. “Oh, of course its nothing. You just smile like a psychotic maniac out of random.”
“You really wanna’ know?” Seth asked. They all nodded.
“My friend, Alena, she moved to Canada about a ano ago. Yeah, well, she’s moving back here. She was my best friend since diapers.”
Embry’s eyes became wide. “No, shit, dude. Is she hot?”
“You tell me.” Seth pulled out a picture of her from last year, one of her many modeling photos.
“Holy shit. She’s fucking gorgeous, dude! Why’d she move?” Quill asked.
Their eyes widened.
“Yeah, she’s that gorgeous. She went on a walk with her sister, Terri, and this modeling agent saw her, and offered her a job. Just like that.”
“Is her sister hot?”
Embry nodded, as if to say, “that’s cool.” They heard someone running towards them, so they turned around to look at the woods.
“Hey, guys. Sam wants us all,” Jacob said, so they all ran with Jacob into the woods, where Sam was, in lobo form. Leah ran behind them.
Noticing he was in lobo form, they all transformed. Their clothes ripped off their tan bodies, and falling to the ground.
“Okay, Sam, what is it?” Leah thought, rudely.
“We have a situation. There’s a vampire coming down, from Alaska. And we are worried. She is staying on the Reservation.”
“Is she a newborn?” Jacob asked him.
“Yes. Our sources tell us that she was just turned a mês ago.”
Seth would’ve been paying attention, but he was preoccupied. Thinking of Alena.
“Uh, Seth?” Jared thought.
“Can you keep your mind focused, for once?” Paul thought. Seth growled.
“Hey, guys, his best friend is coming down from Canada. He hasn’t seen her in so long. Lay off,” Leah thought.
“Oh my God, Leah! Lena’s coming in today, right? What time?”
Leah thought for a moment. “Uhm, 6:30?”
Seth panicked. “We have to go!” He thought, and began to run.
“SETH!” Leah scream-thought, and ran after him.
He could hear their thoughts. “Wow, that girl’s got him wrapped around her finger.” “She must be hot to have him that controlled…” This mad him snarl.
“Wait up, Seth!” Leah thought. He transformed back into his normal self, and ran inside, putting on his favorito camisa and shorts. Leah walked into his room, her normal self, in a tank and margarida Dukes, flip flops on her tanned feet.
“We have to get to the Seattle airport and pick her up!”
Leah laughed. “Her mom can do that.”
“Stevie still lives there? I didn’t know that. Let’s go over there!”
“Woah, chill out, speedy. We have time.”
Seth sighed. “Sorry, I’m just really excited to see Alena.”
“I can tell.” Leah let out a laugh. “C’mon. Stevie’s getting ready to go. We can still catch up with her.”
And with that, they ran across the rua to Alena’s old house. Stepping into her car was Stevie Christiani, Alena’s mom.
“Hey, Seth!” She said, and Seth smiled.
“Hey, Steves. Going to get Lena?” He asked, enthusiastically.
“Yes, actually I am. How’d you know?”
Seth looked at Leah, who smiled, and said: “Yeah, I overheard you and Mr. Christiani talking about it, and considering they were such good friends, I thought he should know. Can you give us a ride?” She gave Stevie an award-winning smile, and she nodded. Leah stepped in the car, in the passenger seat, and Seth sat in the backseat.
When they got to the airport, Seth immediately smiled. There, standing there, waiting for them, was Alena. Her mother jumped out of the car to greet her, and Alena looked at him, with her big, chocolate brown eyes.
And at that moment, something ran through him. Something he never felt before. And he realized.
“Holy shit, Leah.”
“What?” she asked.
“I just imprinted…”
