FRIDAY 6 AM
*Alarm clock goes off*. I pressed my finger againest the top. And stretched my arms in the air. Today I was moving. I didn't want to leave my life here behind. Everything was so perfect. I was almost getting straight A's. My boyfriend Alex, had just made the spring football team. I had made the cheerleading squad. I had a ton of friends in all grades of our Junior High School.
6th-8th, I was popular. I sighed. I knew I had to get up and get ready for my last dia here. My best friends, Amanda and Kelsey were going to throw a ''Going Away'' party. I should be happy about having the opportunity to say goodbye to everyone but I really didn't want to. If only there was a way to stay. I would miss Alex the most. I pictured him in my head. His brownish black hair framed around his very lightly tanned face. His deep brown eyes. I would miss him the most. No doubt about it. I stepped out of bed. My cold toes touched my tan soft carpet of my Medium sized bedroom. My light rosa, -de-rosa and purple striped pajama pants edge hung around my ankles. I walked into my bathroom and looked in the mirror. My light brown hair hung over my shoulders. My green eyes stared back at me in the mirror. My pale skin shined from the bathroom lighting. I brushed my teeth slowly hopeing if I did everything slow than maybe, just maybe..The dia would go por slow aswell. I looked on the bathroom mirror, where pictures of me and my friends were taped and stickered on the edges. Me with Amanda on halloween...Kelsey and I at the mall...Alex and I at the fall dance. I frowned as I looked opon the pictures. Then there was a knock on the door. ''Hold on.'' I said. Putting my toothbrush in my blue plastic cup. I rushed out of the bathroom and to my bedroom door. My mom stood their in her Ole Miss T-shirt with ehr robe, veste, roupão over it. ''Just making sure your up.'' She said along with a smile. ''Yeah, I'm just about to get dressed.'' I smiled back. She looked at me still smiling. ''How'd you get so old that fast...Look your my height. Maybe at Tribecca you can try out for basketball.'' She winked. ''Haha. Maybe.''
''You never know.'' She winked again and walked down the hallway and down the stairs. I let my eyes follow her down. I closed my door and walked to my dresser. I dugg through the T-shirts,and the jeans, shorts, capris, layered tops. Then finally pulled out my electric lima, limão green T-shirt,and a pair of light worn out jeans. I got dress and walked over to the bathroom to do my make-up. Then my cell rang. I ran across the room ,and jumped on my cama and grabbed my cell behind my Tye-Dye pillow. I flipped my phone open.
''Hello.'' I tryed to make my voice sound like it's usual 'Preppy'. I think I did a pretty good job.
''Hey girl! Good morning. Did I get to ya first?'' Kelsey's voice was just as preppy. I could hear her laughter from her last sentence. I couldn't help but laugh along.
''Mornin, and yes you got to me first. Talked to Amanda?''
''No-'' She said her voice going low toward the end.
''-I called you first. La'DUH!'' We laughed together.
I heard a beep. Alex was calling on the other line.
''Hey can I talk to you when you get here? Alex is caling.'' It wasen't really a question.
''Sure. Have fun!'' She said teasingly. I could hear her laughing as she hung up.
I pressed the green button on my phone.
''Hey. I see I didn't get to you first.''
''Haha. Well you know how Kelsey is. If people keep calling me I'm gonna be late to school.''
''Haha. Need a ride?'' I could hear the smile in his voice.
''No thanks. I'm riding with Kelsey and Amanda.''
''Kay. -'' I heard his breath as he was about to say somthing. There was a murmur in the background. I think it was his mom.
''Hey I got to go. See you at school.'' He hung up before I could respond. I rolled my eyes and took my phone off of the charger and put it in my back pocket.
I raced down the stairs, kissed my mom on the cheek and raced out the door. Kelsey and Amanda were in the front seats of the red convertible.
I threw my bag in and jumped over the door and in the seat.
''Sure took ya long enough.'' Amanda said kiddingly. We all laughed.
''Oh por the way , how come i didn't get a call from Some-Body this morning.'' I said letting the 'Somebody' part longer than the rest of the sentenes. She laughed, then we joined in.
We wouldn't be best friends without laughing constantly.
''Haha. I was getting ready. I slept in late. But I still managed quicker than some people.'' She said turning around in her assento and angleing her head toward me. I laughed.
Kelsey jumped in the conversation.
''Oh por the way. What did alex say this morning?''
''Ooooh'' Amanda chidded.
''He just wanted to know if I needed a ride.''
''I so need a boyfriend.'' Amanda said. Her and Kelsey both laughed. Kelsey parked infront of the school.
''We'll why don't you ask Matt out?''
''He's the best player on the basket ball team.''
''So?''
''He's out of my league.''
I Stood there as I watched my best friends debate over Amanda's social status.
Untill I spotted Alex. With his new football friends. All wearing Jock jackets. I left my friends, and walked over to him. He saw me coming and put his arm around me. I bent up and gave me a kiss. His friends smiled.
''So aren't you moving today, Ashley?'' One of his buddies said.
''Uuh yeah. It totally sucks.''
Alex smiled. ''But however she'll still have her phone to keep in touch.'' The sino rang. Everyone ran and walked into the school building. Alex kept his arm around me as we walked toward the building. I saw Kelsey and Amanda still gossiping. Then I kept looking around me as I saw old friends and buddies. Laura Pingel...Kanesha Haylin...Rebecca Goldbloom...Then I saw some of my old friends that slowly turned into enemies...Lauren Alburn-Talked bad about me behind my back...Olivia Crestly-Made up rumors about me...Then Megan Massey. We were never friends. She just automaticly disliked me the minuto she saw me. I never understood why. She roubou my old boyfriend. Trevor. I was in amor with him for a year. I had to admit that I'd never really gotten over him. Then I looked at Alex. He was about 10 times as handsome as Trevor. We walked into the school building. And then my last dia begun...

Stewart had some apprehensions about shooting that scene. She didn't want the scenario of two teens, one being a vampire who happens to be many years older than his facade of 17, deciding to marry one another to look silly or unbelievable.
"Well, to decide you're gonna marry someone at 18 is a pretty hefty decision," she told mtv News from the red carpet of the premiere of her new movie, "The Yellow Handkerchief." "And I didn't want to look stupid. I didn't want it to look like kids getting married. You know what I mean?"
Stewart said she had to find an emotional o espaço that allowed her to make a teenage engagement seem plausible. "I wanted to be, like, 'Oh! Wow! I would say yes too!' You know what I mean? So I don't know how you do that. You try to do it for real, and it felt good. I hope it turned out alright."
