okay... i went over chapter four while composição literária chapter five and i had to make some changes. seriously, it was too damn short so i added mais and changed some things around. so here you go, chapter four of imprint - revised.

WARNING: coarse language and a few innuendos cuz i know i forgot to editar those out.

MAYA CHAPTER FOUR: MEET THE FAMILY

“Hi, you must be Maya,” said a girl with wild bronze-colored hair. Her eyes were chocolate brown and sparkling, her skin made her look deathly sick – yes, she was that pale – and her smile was friendly yet shy. She was pretty, I had to admit.
And I was intimidated (and not in the seguro way.)
“Yes, I am,” I replied, my voice barely audible to my own ears. I looked down at the grama below, ashamed to be so embarrassed. This was a family of vampires, for God’s sake! The scent of the air around this one chick alone was enough to make me vomit. Why the hell should I be intimidated por a bloodsucking leech? It didn’t make any sense.
The red-headed chick pulled me into a hug. “It’s so nice to meet you,” she said, squeezing me. “I’m Renesmee,” she added.
“Nice to meet you, too,” I managed to spit out. God, the stench of parasite was overwhelming. I wanted so badly to kill her; to rip her throat out or something, but the others wouldn’t exactly take that well, would they? “Um, you can get off of me now,” I added, my throat burning.
“Oh, sorry,” she murmured as she let go. I held my breath after that, trying my hardest not to kill anyone, because if I got even one tiny whiff … well, let’s just say I might have to pay for a massive funeral. Needless to say, I was thankful that she had a conscience.
The girl, Renesmee, looked over at Embry, who was staring at me worriedly. “Hi, Embry,” she greeted him, hugging him. “It’s good to see you again.”
Embry chuckled once, still looking at me with nervous eyes … and hugging the leech-girl back. Great. “It’s good to see you, too, squirt,” he replied, stepping away from the girl before I lost control.
Good pup, I couldn’t help but think.
Renesmee turned toward me. “Come on, Maya, meet the rest of the family,” she giggled, turning on her heel and almost running back into her house. I heard a lot mais giggling from inside the house, and her telling her family that I was coming, and that’s when I finally had enough.
I turned to face Embry and give him hell. “Embry,” I started. My voice was low and devious.
“Maya, I’m sorry,” Embry interrupted, sounding sincere enough. “I know I should have given you mais of a warning, but I was worried about your reaction.”
“Worried about my reaction?” I repeated, incredulous and angry at the same time. “Well, what do you think my reaction is now that you haven’t warned me earlier?” I gave him my ultimate boy-you-are-so-screwed-it-isn’t-even-funny look.
“Extremely pissed off with me,” he answered, looking down at the ground. If it was someone else that I was upset with, I’d growl at them and tell them to grow a pair and face me. But I was … soft when it came to Embry for some weird reason. And here I thought I was the ultimate drill sergeant.
“Em, Maya, hurry it up,” Jacob called from the house, impatience saturating his voice.
“In a minute,” I yelled back without turning to look at him. “Embry, I have one piece of conselhos for you: never keep anything from me. It won’t ever work well for you and it will always bite you in the ass. Understand?”
Embry nodded and said nothing. I would have felt sorry for offending him like this, but people die for lying to others and he was lucky that I liked him as much as I did. “I’m sorry,” he muttered softly.
I sighed, which was basically my way of accepting any apology. I grabbed his hand, took a deep breath (I did not intend to let that breath out anytime soon) and walked progressivo, para a frente and into the house – the house full of vampiros that were just waiting to drink every last drop of my blood. Oh, awesome.
Everyone inside turned once they saw me and Embry step through the door. It was easy to see that they were vampires; their skin was too damn pale, their faces were too damn perfect, and the stench in the house made even a skunk smell clean. But these vampiros were different than the ones I was used to seeing. Their eyes were this odd shade of gold, instead of the usual red or black.
If I didn’t know what they were, I would say that there was no way in hell that these people were related to each other, since they seriously look nothing alike (well, apart from Renesmee and the red-headed boy standing right in front of me. They looked so much alike that they could be twins.) The guys were built and hot as hell, while the girls looked like they just walked off of a runway.
It figured. I couldn’t even keep a guy and they literally had men dying at their feet.
“There they are,” Jacob said in mock exasperation. “It’s about time you two got here.” I rolled my eyes at him and smiled. “So, meet the family. You already met Nessie, I’m guessing. The one sitting on the sofá and watching football is Emmett, then there’s Rosalie, who’s somewhere upstairs fixing her hair or something. And over here staring at you are the rest of them: Carlisle, Esme, and Jasper, Alice the Freak, Edward and Bella.” The vamps waved as their names were called, and the little pixie-like brunette girl, Alice, glared at Jacob when he called her a freak.
I muttered a quiet and quick hello that was meant for all of them.
“Maya, the Bucs are playing the Panthers, if you’re interested,” Seth said from the sofá which was placed in front of a wide screen (and I do mean wide screen) TV seguinte to the door.
“Panthers win, 37 to 21,” I stated, knowing the history of the Panthers and the Bucs too well.
“What?” the massively built boy with dark brown hair – Emmett – asked, sounding genially surprised. “There’s no way that the Bucs lose this game.”
“Well, they do,” I replied softly, looking at the granite floor below. I was never one for eye contact. “Sorry to disappoint you.”
“Are you willing to take a bet on it?” Emmett asked, his eyebrow arching in mischief. “I mean, you do gamble, right? I don’t want to just take your money from you if you don’t.”
“I gamble,” I told him, still looking down at the floor. “But I don’t take money from people that I just met; it’s rude.” That received a few laughs from the other parasites, which I didn’t understand. That really wasn’t meant to be funny because it was the truth. My mom told me that it was rude and “unladylike” to gamble with a man you just met.
“Well, maybe you can make an exception,” Emmett insisted. I would have argued – even though my mother would probably be in Indiana por now, I still didn’t want to disobey her – but I was out of breath, no I simply nodded and pulled Embry por the hand as I walked towards the big vamp and the giant TV. The vamp smiled and scooted over to make room on the sofá for us. Embry sat the closet to Emmett, while I sat at the other end of the couch, only breathing in Embry’s scent.
Everyone started really introducing themselves while Emmett and I were debating on how much to wager on the football game. The vamps Jasper and Bella were the ones that I found that I liked the most. They were both very introverted and nice, but Jasper kept looking at my neck the way Homer Simpson would be looking at a can of cerveja or a donut. It wasn’t exactly the most comforting thought in the world, believe it or not. If there was ever a fight between me and this coven, they’d be the ones I’d kill last.
Embry kept apologizing in my ear for his lack of warning whenever no one else was talking. I kept telling him to shut up, that I forgave him, but it wasn’t until the seventh time that I told him that he got the message. I found it strangely endearing, however, that he was so worried about upsetting me; that he was so anxious about my happiness. If my coração weren’t a black hole (as my father and all three of my ex-boyfriends have told me) it would’ve been soaring out of my chest right now.
The game ended the exact way I said it would – the Panthers won por sixteen points at the end of the fourth quarter. Emmett kept cussing under his breath and muttering about how I was just lucky as he dug into his jeans to grab thirty dollars to give me. “I want a rematch,” he muttered as he handed the money to me.
I smiled in response. “We’ll see,” I replied, smiling wryly and snatching the money from his hand. He smiled in return and slapped me lightly on the back, laughing as he did so. He was going to say something in return when Carlisle – I think – brought out a small cake and many big presents. Damn. And all I got for my twelfth birthday was a decapitated barbie doll…
Life was so unfair.
I started walking towards the cake (I was as hungry as hell) when my phone started playing Duran Duran’s Hungry like the Wolf, (how’s that for irony?) indicating that I had a phone call. I quickly excused myself ad went outside before answering. “Hello?” I greeted.
“Hola, chica,” a familiar perky voice replied from the other end. Lila Rodriguez, a member of the pack in New Mexico was calling. “How’s my favorito biche?”
“She’s been better,” I chuckled. “What’s up?”
“We have a little surprise for you in the forest,” she giggled, as if she were a schoolgirl telling her best friend that a boy liked her.
“A surprise?” I repeated. “Let me guess: it’s a furgão, van with no windows that has all of my favorito doces in it, right?” I laughed again. “And what do you mean ‘we?’ you guys are all back in Santa Fe, aren’t you? How can you have a surprise for me here when – okay, I’m an idiot,” I muttered, causing Lila to giggle. “What are guys doing here?” I demanded.
“I thought you’d be happy that we’re here,” Lila said in mock sadness. I rolled my eyes and smiled.
“I am,” I sighed, “but I’m just a little … shocked. I mean, I’ve only been here for a dia and you’re already visiting me.”
“Because we already miss you,” she argued.
“Then you guys have some serious separation problems.”
“Just come to the forest and find us,” she said dismissively before hanging up. I growled softly and then texted FUCK YOU before putting my phone in my pocket and walking back into the house.
Jacob laughed when I came through the door, his face covered in bright blue icing. “Nice ring tone,” he chuckled, rolling his eyes.
I laughed with him. “Yeah, you have to amor the irony,” I replied, making him laugh louder. I rolled my eyes at him and walked over to Embry and Seth, who were stuffing their faces with cake just like Jacob was. “Hey, guys,” I greeted them, rubbing my forefinger against Embry’s plate to get some icing off. It was sweet.
“Hey, Maya,” Seth said while Embry nodded. “Hey, um, I have to go take care of something and I’ll be back as soon as I can,” I told them.
“Do you want me to come with you?” Embry asked through the glob of cake in his mouth.
Please come, yes, please come, I begged him in my head, all the while knowing that it was impossible. “No, I’ll be fine,” I assured him, internally kicking myself for not saying that he could come. Hell, he could come with me to hell and back if he wanted to, but there was just some shit that he didn’t need to know about me. I kissed him on his cheek and rushed out of the house again to go find my friends.
I still wasn’t used to the weather in Forks yet, so the cold air and the breeze I received while running was uncomfortable, even with a heavy winter jaqueta on. I still couldn’t see how Embry and the guys could stand to go out in the cold without shirts or jackets, but hell, I wasn’t complaining.
I leaped over a river that they had near the house and that’s when all hell broke loose. I bumped into someone and almost flew back ten feet and into the river. The person didn’t seem too happy about it either.
“What the hell?” she yelled. I stood up and faced her.
Her golden eyes and pale skin stood out and I realized I was finally about to have some fun with this coven, after all.
Cool, I thought. I just pissed off a Cullen.

The vamp in front of me growled and stared me down, her gold eyes burning. “Next time, watch where you’re going, bitch,” she hissed, her voice low and deadly. “Or you’ll regret it.”
I couldn’t help it; I had to laugh. I always found it funny when people –especially blondes – tried to be controlling over me. My own alpha had problems controlling me. How was this Cullen cadela, puta any different?
“What the hell is so funny?” the blonde growled at me, pulling her lips back to reveal her teeth. If I didn’t have a really dark and twisted sense of humor or have a burning sensation in my nose from her stench, she might’ve looked scary.
I stood up and looked her straight in the eye and smiled a sarcastic grin. “What’s funny is the fact that you think that I’m actually afraid of you,” I said, still laughing. “Please, Blondie. I eat bitches like you for breakfast.” This wasn’t a complete lie – I’ve dealt with many parasites before this and attacked quite a few of them - . She growled again, forming no words, just threatening me with the rumble in her tone.
My smile grew. “Aww, did I piss you off?” I asked mockingly. She said nothing so I laughed and stepped aside so I could walk around her, letting my guard down.
That was my first mistake.
The blonde stuck her arm out in front on my chest and wrapped it around my neck a segundo later, choking me. I pushed her arm from around my neck and pushed her back as far as my strength would allow. She flew back from me, stopping when her back hit a tree, which broke and fell on impact. She jumped right back up, looking at me with both confusion and anger. To piss her off even more, I did the same thing to her as I did to my father: I shot a bird at her and whistled for a dog.
That was my segundo mistake.
She shrieked in anger and ran after me, grabbing me por the colarinho, colar of my jaqueta and tossing me deeper into the forest. As she did, I also hit a tree, which only cracked at my impact. Wood from the árvore imbedded itself into my skin, causing blood to drip from my wounds. I hissed in pain, but stood up anyway, just in time for the blonde to grab me and turn me so her lips were only inches away from my neck.
“I don’t know what you are,” she snarled seguinte to my ear, sniffing me, “but I’m going to enjoy killing you and putting you through absolute hell.”
Okay, this vampire was seriously pissed off with me and was about to dig her teeth into my skin. That being said, I should not have done what I did next. “Get the fuck off of me, Dracula!” I yelled, scratching at her arms around my neck. “My blood is not a fucking snack.” And then, out of sheer frustration and no ounce of thought, I lifted my foot and kicked her in the lower stomach, probably breaking a few bones in my leg.
The blonde leaned in and stuck her teeth in my neck, and the pain was excruciating, like nothing else I’ve ever felt before. I yelled out in pain, which was not usual for me. I thrashed and screamed, but she wouldn’t release me. Finally, after what seemed like hours but I knew was only five minutes, she stepped back from me. Her hand was on her forehead as if she had a headache. I, too weak to stand, fell to my knees and watched her back farther away from me. Then she dropped to her knees like I did and started screaming at the topo, início of her dead lungs. I watched in horror and fascination as she screeched for help and moved her hand from her forehead to her stomach, which was convulsing like crazy.
The rest of the Cullens and the guys from the reservation came minutos later, the vamps rushing to aid the blonde, while the guys were coming over to me. Embry was the only one I could pay attention to, his expression so worried that I was worried he was about to pass out. I tried to smile and reassure him that I was okay, but the pain in my neck was so intense that I could only hiss in pain. I raised my hand from the ground – no small accomplishment – and used it to cover up the blonde’s bite marks on my neck.
“Maya, what happened?” Embry asked hoarsely, sounding like he was choking on something. I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. I sighed angrily and shook my head, showing him that I didn’t have my voice at the moment. Then I rubbed my hand against my wound, hoping that no one would notice that I even had one.
But of course someone would…
“Maya, what are you covering with your hand?” Seth asked, reaching over to remove my hand from my neck. I would have fought him off, but I was too weak to do so, so I just let him take my hand away. And as soon as he did, Embry growled softly and turned to stare angrily at the blonde vampire, who had finally stopped screaming and was attempting to sit up.
“I am going to kill that bitch,” the blonde huffed out, glaring golden daggers at me. The others looked at her like she was crazy, but Edward, the bronze haired boy, stared at her in utter disgust. Well, at least someone else felt the same way I did about her.
“Rosalie,” he whispered in astonishment. Then he looked at me in concern. “Are you okay, Maya?”
“Do … I look … okay?” I hissed, struggling to stand. “It’s not every dia that this type of shit happens, you know.” When I finally stood up, I walked over to Embry and put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. Embry turned from facing Rosalie to staring worriedly at me. “Embry, I’m fine,” I promised him, smiling sweetly at him. Embry took my hand in his and brought it to him mouth, beijar my palm repeatedly. It was both endearing and relieved, as if he thought I was gone…
As if he would genuinely care if I was…
Shit. Now I was getting all mushy and insecure about myself. Damn you Embry.
Rosalie growled. “Of course you’d take her side, Edward,” she accused, her eyes narrowing as she looked at him. “After all, you just amor to help the ‘innocent’, don’t you?” It was easy to hear the quotation around the word innocent, as well as the double meaning in the word. She didn’t believe I was an innocent, huh?
“You’re the one who jumped me, asshole,” I yelled at her, about to start again. She stood up and hissed at me, showing off her teeth. “You can show your teeth all you want, Blondie, but it won’t help your case,” I sneered.
“Oh, go to hell, mongrel,” she muttered. She flicked her tongue out at me and walked towards the direction of the house. Emmett smiled apologetically at me before running off after her. I rolled my eyes. Typical cadela, puta – leaving right when she knows she lost. If she had a heart, I’d rip it out.
Is it obvious that I really don’t like blondes?
A lobo howled not far into the forest behind me – Lila. She always was an impatient little thing. I had to get over the pack before they ended up doing something that I might regret. To let her know I was coming, I growled quietly, knowing that she could hear me from where she was. This was basically wolf-speak for “calm the fuck down.”
“Um, I appreciate the concern, guys, but I still have something to take care of since … Rosalie interrupted me,” I mumbled, heading into the forest even more. I heard my name being called from behind me, mainly por Embry, but I kept running. They didn’t need to know my dirty little secrets....

okay, you've seen the prologue, this is the first chapter...enjoi!

I knew it was too early to get up, yet I couldn’t just lie there any more. If I didn’t do something, I may just go mad. My beautiful, immortal vampire boyfriend was out hunting with his brothers and wouldn’t be início until later today. His sister Alice was supposed to stay with me, but thanks to her amor of dressing me up like a barbie doll and my clever planning, she stayed at her place to arrange a whole new wardrobe for me and I got to spend the night without being babysat. I rolled over and looked at my alarm clock....

This is sort of a short one...

"Hey, Renesmee, wait up!"
I didn't have to turn to know the voice. It was Mrs. Malagwa, my art teacher, the only person at Brenton who insisted on calling me 'Renesmee.'
I turned and smiled at her. "Is there a problem, Mrs. Malagwa?"
"No, no problem." she panted, out of breath, though she'd only jogged a few steps. I waited for her to continue. "The Valentine's dia Dance is coming up," she said. "And you have such artistic ability. We need mais members on the Decorating Comittee." she held up a sheet that was half filled with signatures.
Ah, the dance. I was...

Robert Pattinson sat down with Premiere to talk about Twilight since there’s only one week left until opens in theaters!!!

The 21-year-old British actor revealed that he hasn’t even read the whole book series yet! He shared, “I haven’t [read the whole series]. I’ve read all of the books except for Breaking Dawn. I didn’t want to know how it ended. I wanted to have the uncertainty of not knowing where it’s going to go, so I just read the first three. I want to read the last one, but I’m determined to wait.”

If you want to meet Robert in the flesh TONIGHT, he’ll be at the the Hot Topic store at Square One Mall in Saugus, Mass. There will be a Q&A and an autograph session at 6PM, but remember to purchase your $30 Twilight Tour T-shirt so you can get in!

Before I begin all of you that are in amor with Alice please dont start hating on me. :)

I like Rosalie a lot I really dont understand WHY you hate her so much.

Is it because she is mean to Bella? Well she is mean because Edward chose a human over a beautiful vampire.. and btw arent you girls mad at Bella for "stealing" Edward from you and are jelous of Bella? So basicaly all of you are in almost Rosalie's position. I know that some might disagree, but again this is what I think...

Rosalie story fascanates(how to spell?) me a lot. She was raped and because of some stupid man she got all...

There are people that cruz our lives
in tiny fractions of time,
in the briefest of encounters,
and yet they leave and incredible mark
in our hearts and in our minds forever.

"Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, that person sends out a tiny ripple of ove and hope, and crossing each other fro a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppresion and resistance."

Now these poems were written por some one else, but deseved to be shared and they kind of have something in commen with the series.

Recently, I read an artigo on here written por a true Twilight fan, where she expressed her anger with the fan-community of this beloved series.
After leitura - a long with leitura some other artigos too - I began to think about what it means to be a true Twilight fan, a Twilighter if you will.

In my opinion a true fã of anything appreciates every element of whatever that person is a fã of - in this case Twilight.
A true Twilighter looks at this series and doesn't see just a amor story between a vampire and a human, but they see the struggle between good and evil. They see a story with dynamic...

Writing a sequel is a very different experience than composição literária a story. It was for me, at least.

TWILIGHT - chapter 2 - OPEN BOOK

The seguinte dia was better... and worse.
It was better because it wasn't raining yet, though the clouds were dense and opaque. It was easier because I knew what to expect of my day. Mike came to sit por me in English, and walked me to my seguinte class, with Chess Club Eric glaring at him all the while; that was flattering. People didn't look at me quite as much as they had yesterday. I sat with a big group at lunch that included Mike, Eric, Jessica, and several other people whose names and faces I now remembered. I began to feel like I was treading...
