Do you think Stephenie Meyer purposefully used old names for EVERBODY in Twilight?

Okay so I know the Cullens etc have old names because,well, their old. Though I just noticed browsing about that most of the humans have old names too (well according to this website): link
Stanley,Eric etc heck even Meyer is there.
What do you think?

I do know that most of the lobos are named after people in her family, Seth is her one of her sons, her brothers name is Jacob,here sisters name was Leah, and there was mais but I can't remember how they were related to her

I don't think so. From what I know, "Leah" wasn't that common back then like it is now. Nor were Jessica and Tyler. And definitely not Renesmee xD
