I really shouldn't ever like this, but I can't help it.
edit: gonna add that I hate when the relationship is portrayed romantically. I think you can still love someone and end up in an abusive situation, but it's not healthy and shouldn't be portrayed as such. I like watching the characters break down and how they handle it, but I don't think it's 'cute' or 'hot'.
The best kind of unrequited love though, the kind I like the most, is when it IS returned eventually or they do get together in the end. But only after lots of angst and obstacles.
Also forbidden love, but only if it's really well-written, cause forbidden love starts to get really cliche and overused.
Occasionally fluffy love too, but only if it's not too fluffy and has some angst too here and there.
Tragic Love = Snow White
Obsessive Love = um... Snow White again? haha
Forbidden Love = idk, Little Red Riding Hood maybe? (Is that a fairytale though? XD)
Fluffy Love = Cinderella
I have no idea for the others! I suck at lifeeee
Annnd about the actual pick, well I love fluff, can't help it. Fluff is ma thing!
I totally have a weakness for unrequited love too, but only if it eventually becomes requited. Same for platonic love, love it when couples start out as friends.
But I think I like a little bit of everything..
Also forbidden love, but only if it's really well-written, cause forbidden love starts to get really cliche and overused.
I feel the same way. I have a thing for tragic and doomed couples (Skate, Spuffy, Freffy) because they usually have intense and heartbreaking stories. I can really like forbidden love if it is written well, but nowdays unfortunatelly tv shows cannot do it right and it turns into cliche.
