Sure, I question how some fans can talk so much shit about other GG couples, yet ignore the negative things about CB, but that's still not me saying anyone should stop shipping them. I look at it like this - Brooke♥Lucas & Sawyer♥Kate are my top 2 couples. If I based all the pairings I shipped on whether they were a 'healthy' relationship, I don't think I'd still be shipping any of the couples I like. I have two couples warring right now, one of which went through some rough stuff including her firing him, and the other of which she is completely fickle and sleeping with a complete jerk instead of him, but they are still pairings I enjoy. If people had already named Chair as their OTP, a while ago... then they aren't just going to all of a sudden throw that out the window, just because things aren't going as well for Chair now, as they once were. That defeats the whole meaning and purpose of an OTP. If you love a couple, enough to name them your OTP... then that usually means that you love that couple SO much, and you ship them SO hard... that you're willing to STICK WITH that couple. Through their good times, AND their not-so-good times. If your OTP becomes "unhealthy", it probably won't even matter to you, if you're a true fan of them. Because the good times of your OTP will ALWAYS outweigh the bad times. If people still love Chair, and call them their OTP... then great for them. That just proves how loyal to Chair they are, as you should be to your OTP! posted over a year ago.
