Chapter 15
Sleeping in
I yawned as I raised my head from the security of my lovely pillow, expecting the lovely outputting as cores of my cama room I was surprised to see creepy bright white paint on the walls, with no pictures whatsoever.
I jerked up from my position and noticed I was on one of those things in the doctors office the kid gets to sit on for whether it was for a check-up or sickness, I quickly calmed down when I realized I was in the nurse’s office, our lovely nurse was on her computer typing, and I noticed a familiar pretty girl sleeping cutely in the chair, snoring softly.
I smiled as Beth turned her position, a small smile on her face. Our nurse was still on the computer, and as I surveyed the room I noticed the bathroom door was closed.
Yawning again, I looked to the cute little watch Ryler had given me and I widened my eyes, it was almost time to leave, we had about ten minutos left.
“Sorry sweetie, but your going to have to stay in here for the remainder of the day, or as you kids like to say, until the sino rings.” My favorito nurse says.
I smiled. “Oh, too bad. I was so excited for class.”
“I know, but your going to have to hold on to that excitement for awhile, I’m sorry for you sleeping in, even though how much you wanted to attend classes.” You could sense the sarcasm.
    “Sorry,” I mutter.
She shakes her head. “Don’t be sweetie, you need your sleep. You nearly had me worried, I almost thought you guys had fainted.”
    “Really?” I asked.
She nodded. “The minuto you guys laid down you fell asleep, you guys make poor old me worry.”
    “Your thirty-five.” I say.
    “Don’t tell anyone.”
I roll my eyes, holding in my laughter as to not wake up Beth. Miss nurse turns towards me.
“I mean it though, you, sleep, pronto. You came here at seven fourty and fell asleep to wake up to one thirty one. You guys need your sleep, to function, and your friend-”
“Beth never came here in our years of being here, she’s like never gotten sick for awhile.”
She nodded appreciatively. “But the poor thing’s tired, I mean, look-”, she pointed at Beth. “She’s got some mighty dark circles under her eyes.”
“What!? I didn’t see that earlier!” I look back at her eyes, alarmed.
Miss nurse nodded. “That’s because she had make-up to conceal it, but when I found out you weren’t leaving soon I took it off. The girl has been sleep deprived and she needs it very much or it will take a serious toll on her health. Do me a big favor and make sure she gets her sleep.”
    I nodded. “Of course.”
Miss nurse nodded happily. “Well then, you might want to leave her to sleep more, or you can take her back início but be careful as to not wake her, yeah?”
    I nod.
“Oh and make sure she goes to sleep early today and has breakfast, and if she doesn’t…I don’t know, just don’t let her go to school.”
I smiled deviously. “I’ve got my ways.”
Miss nurse nodded. “I’m sure you do. Might as well get your bags, there right there.”
I looked to where she pointed and sure enough our bags were put neatly por both of us. As I went to reach them Beth stirred in her sleep and I was careful as to not make noise.
    I sighed. “What to do?…”
As I had my mental battle with myself, the sino rung, and I held in a groan. Let her sleep here, or take her início to rest. Making my decision I picked up my phone and dialed the first name that came to mind.
    “What?!”
“Well hello to you too,” I say immediately offended.
    “Sorry Pam, I’m just a bit…angry.”
“Yeah, well I need you to come to school to get Beth.”
    “What?! Why?! What’s wrong?!”
“Calm down you blubber blub, she’s just…really tired, as in really super humongous tired. I’m at the nurse’s office in school and I want her to rest in her house.”
    “Fine, I’m coming.”
    I smiled. “Thanks Adam!”
    “Whatever.”
I narrowed my eyes. “Hey, you still owe me for touching my hair with those contaminated hands.”
“Yeah? Well you still owe me for-”
“Love you bye,” I cut him off quickly, and close my phone.
Miss nurse is shaking her head, amused. “This generation.”

"Luke!! I yell." No answer. I close my eyes. Voices echoing in my head. I turn around and open my eyes. Luke wasn't laying there. What the hell? This is my first fã fic... and hopefully I will be continuing on this! Enjoy!

My name is Alice. I'm eleven years young. My life has been all... unicórnios until this year. It's sort of like all the fun has been cut off from my life. Like adults and other people alike all want me to have a short childhood. It's strange, because it seems as if everyone else is having loads of excitement in their lives. But I'm the only one who is at home, trying not to cut myself everyday because of all the stress in my life. It's difficult not to, and I haven't spoke to anyone so far. I don't want to be sent...

VERONICA
Carter’s Perspective

As I’m walking with the pack, I instantly realize there is a clear leader. Veronica. She was mais than your average coyote. She actually had reddish-brown pele, peles instead of the generic gray-brown. She still had the piercing yellow eyes that coyotes are known for, but hers made you feel like she was staring straight into your soul… She made it clear she was the leader, too. She in fact came straight up to me and told me, “Hey! Newbie. I’m the leader of this pack, okay? Ain’t ever gonna become some fancy-shmancy leader.”
It was pretty clear if you ask me....

Gerald wrinkled his nose at the earthy, mossy smell that always filled the woods. He longed to get back to his palace, but there was work to be done, and a king must do his work, after all.
“Hurry up!” he shouted at the coal black cavalos dragging the carriage. They bolted and took off.
Gerald leaned back against the soft, silky back of the assento and watched the trees blur by.
How grateful he was that he didn’t live out here, with all the faerie and elves and goblins. No, goblins lived in the marshes, didn’t they? But the faerie-folk, elves…still out here. He could feel them watching...

In the deep dark woods lies a house. A cottage house that only has one inhabitant. The one inhabitant onle has one visitor every month.

It was wintertime when that one visitor made his last visit.

Sherman E. Collins was his name and snooping was his name. The bald, chubby man knocked on the rotted wood. He waited for a good 2 minutos but nothing happened. When he was just about to knock again, the door creaked open. He shrugged it off. It was a common thing in these abandon houses.

Clutching his clipboard, he made his wasy into the house. The shattered windows, yellowing photos, and missing floor...

Chapter one
June 6, 1994, my birth. My mother never meant to have me. Never did. My father's condom apparently broke so they were stuck with me. A babygirl. I had short brown hair with amber eyes. But when I was born, I had blue with a light brown lining around my pupil. The doctors never could figure that part out. My eyes changed quicker than most babies. My eyes changed a week earlier than they were supposed to. That's why I get picked on, I tell that story and no one believes me. They call me "Weirdo", "fake", etc.
Though my mother left and my father is a total drunk,...

I. The Nursery

Ember lived in her nursery for the seguinte few months, only being let out occasionally to go to the toilet. All she saw were the four walls around her but it wasn’t all bad.
The room was painted a pretty sky-blue and the carpet was thick, fluffy and a deep midnight blue. There was a cama and a huge white wardrobe with the most beautiful, antiquado, à moda antiga clothes inside.
Rich velvets cloaks, soft pele, peles stoles, bright silk dresses, every item of clothing needed to make a young lady of society look beautiful.
But Ember was not a young lady of society living in Victorian times. She was a...

Chapter 7: You Can't Trust Anyone These Days

James Knight slumped in his chair. It seemed like the most appropriate thing to do in this situation. How else was he suppose to act? He was a train wreck waiting to happen. He didn't bother combing his dirty blonde hair or wear decent clothes. He still had on his Lakers suéter, camisola and faded blue jeans with holes ripped in the front. This was the kind of outfit he wouldn't dare where around the house if this was a regular day. For shoes, he had his scuffed, black Reeboks. His eyes were red and puffy but he still radiated that devilish charm...
