The Succubus, Prologue!
Downsized
“You called for me?” the young succubus, Odessa, knelt before her lord. She knew that she was about to be chewed out, but she didn’t care anymore, she would take whatever punishment he deemed fit, then leave his presence until her seguinte one. Lord Arlon glared at her.
“You have some nerve, you have repeatedly disobeyed me in the past, but now you have gone too far. You have broken one rule too many, and this one was a serious one.”
She kept her head bowed respectfully, but inwardly sneered at the fool. “You and I have differing opinions, my lord.”
Arlon snorted. “that we do. Do you have anything to say in your defense?”
“No, my lord, nothing at all.”
Arlon looked at her. She had her head bowed, but was still beautiful. He expected nothing less of a succubus, but that was what got her into trouble in the first place. “You have broken a sacred rule.”
“And you have broken my heart.”
“DON’T GIVE ME THAT! You are the one who blatantly disregarded your orders. Succubi exist to tempt men and steal their energy, but you ignored that duty entirely, even going so far as to seduce a fellow demon! Do you hold feelings for the humans?”
She looked up and sneered. “I despise the humans, but I despise myself and yourself more. I hate us demons. We say we hate humans and we say that they’re beneath us, but what do we do? We stalk them and we spite them! They are beneath us? No, we are jealous, at least you are! I refuse to be jealous of such filth, but I also refuse to acknowledge my demon heritage! Succubi my ass!”
“ENOUGH!” Arlon’s roar of anger shocked her. She snapped her mouth shut and once again, bowed her head.
“I apologize, my lord, that was out of line.” Her response was stiff and without any of the fervor she had just shown. Arlon looked at her. Damn that woman, her anger only made her mais beautiful, her flushed features barely hidden por her long red hair. He sighed, he hated this part.
“I’m sorry, Odessa, but you have broken the rules for the last time.”
“Are you banishing me?”
“No…I could never do that, even if my duty demanded it, I could not banish you. Instead, I shall do the seguinte worst thing. I shall strip you of all that you are.”
She gasped. “No! you can’t!” seguinte to banishment, it was the worst punishment, but she found this to be worse than being banished. She was being stripped of her identity. She would no longer be a Succubus, she would not be human, or demon, or anything else. She would be an abomination.
Arlon glared. “Yes, I can, and I will!”
Her eyes pleaded. “No…”
“Odessa, you are hereby stripped of all of your demon heritage, your demon powers, of everything! You shall walk the world, no longer a demon, but a monster even worse than that!” He slammed his fist into the armrest of his throne, a green and red light enveloping Odessa as she looked at him, her features no longer pleading, but furious, she would have her revenge, that was for sure.

I look down at the snow below
Thinking of its familiar glow
I remember the trees that tore at my wet clothes
And the horrid wind that stung my nose
I tripped and had fell to weak to move
Thinking I had nothing to lose
My eyes began to close and I started to drift away
My mind refusing to disobey
It took me por the hand and I felt warm
Almost glad to be taken por the storm
Now I watch from up above wondering what I did wrong
And why I was one chosen to sing the anjos song
Thinking of its familiar glow
I remember the trees that tore at my wet clothes
And the horrid wind that stung my nose
I tripped and had fell to weak to move
Thinking I had nothing to lose
My eyes began to close and I started to drift away
My mind refusing to disobey
It took me por the hand and I felt warm
Almost glad to be taken por the storm
Now I watch from up above wondering what I did wrong
And why I was one chosen to sing the anjos song
With nails so black scraping away at rotting church pews
I tell you I amor you mais than myself
But to understand, from me you shall receive neither money nor wealth
What you procurar for is not emotion or passion, it’s much mais precise
It’s the golden fortune which comes with a price
So you take the deal and strike my head
Your beating heart, now made of lead
Allow me the peace of mind to soften the last deadly blow
Perhaps this is how our story ends of you the Raven and I the Crow
(Crows and Ravens, in European legends are known to symbolize death)
I will remember you always.
Will you remember me?
That is a pergunta for you to answer,
And not me.
I promise
That I will always
Keep the flame of memory alive.
The fun that we had will never
Be forgotten.
Even on foggy evenings,
The darkest of nights,
You will always be in my heart.
For I know that you will help me
Keep the flame of memory blazing
Always.
All the good times that we had,
All the fun that we had,
All the tears that we let out,
All the anger we let out
Will never be wasted.
Because every minuto of it
Is in my heart.
I will tend to the fogo
Every night,
Recollecting all the memories we have
Knowing that the flame of memory
Is the brightest flame of all
And it will blaze on.

It all started 100 years ago...

I'm cheerful on the outside yes, but under this huge hyperfilled, cheerful girl is a fragile antique.
On the outside some see me as normal or energetic maybe the one maçã, apple with a hole in the barrel.
I'll plaster a smile every now and then to show the me-the fake me- to disguise the actual one pulling the strings.
As I stand before the mirror starring at myself I see that figure looming behind me his hand on my shoulder.
And at that moment my mask breaks and I'm stunned at my actual self.
I'm filled with depression, sadness, anger and haterid.
Never did I want to ever see the true me.
The mirror breaks and the man seguinte to me whispers "Your mine." I look down in defeat.
Dropping to the ground-on my knees-I begin to cry.
He got the better of me and now I am no more.
"I'm a monster." I say to myself through a sob.

I am a broken-winged eagle
Who cannot fly
Because I have set no goal for myself.
Other people laugh and scoff at me,
And I know that I must quickly find something
To hope for.
Everyday I think,
"What's the use? Nothing is my talent. Give up."
People think I am nothing but stupid,
But I can see that light within myself.
I have not yet soared.
I have not yet found my dream.
One day, I find something unique to dream for.
Writing.
Something that can take me to faraway places
Anywhere, beyond this universe.
And now I can soar.
Far, far, faraway
Where no one can catch me.
Where no one can disturb me.
Where I can be free.
Where I will no longer be
A broken-winged eagle.
Who cannot fly
Because I have set no goal for myself.
