Interview with Thet Mon Myint in Myanmar people magazine: December, 2011
At one of Dia das bruxas Nights, I (the interviewer) met with her wearing pretty & bright red dress. Her style was very fashionable this time. It also looked like she herself was satisfied with her changed fashion style.
TMM: As I've been taking cover fotografia for People magazine frequently, I want to show different side of me to my fans. That's why I've taken pictures dressing like this. Ma Pont (designer) arranged dresses for me. We prepared only red & black dresses. 'Aren't they lovely?' She also asked me while explaining her fotografia concept.
Interviewer: What are your current activities?
TMM: Only videos. I've just finished the video: 'Lucky draw of love'(Kan san mae achit).
Interviewer: How many filmes have you filmed for this year?
TMM: Only about 3 movies.
Interviewer: How do you relax after your continuous filming days?
TMM: I just travel for my work during New ano & Thingyan rather than private relaxation. And I’m happy in the setting or film scenes though I just want to relax when I’m tired filming dia & night. I’m pleased in my scenes and I feel a little sick when I don’t have any. In my holidays, I design clothes, read books, travel & do shopping. But it is also tired to tour & to comprar as I’ve little time.
Interviewer: Thet Mon, which character do you think suits you best? Which role do you prefer to portray?
TMM: Well, it’s not same with time. What I want is that I don’t want to film 2-3 dramas continuously. I just want to film a drama & a comedy alternately. It’s tiring according to types of movie. There is no specific character I want to specially portray.
Interviewer: I think you are emphasizing in Fashion nowadays.
TMM: I liked simple style before. The reason I’m emphasizing in Fashion is because I become interested in fashion & may be due to my experience. I also happen to observe concerning Fashion.
Interviewer: Lastly, please say your final words to your fans.
TMM: I whole-heartedly thank to my fans. I can exist as Thet Mon Myint because of them. I’ll try really hard for you fãs so please give your interest & support afterwards.
