revival boasts an embarrassment of A-Team riches in front of and behind the camera. In addition to returning stars David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson and Mitch Pileggi, the six-hour continuation features episodes written and directed by behind-the-scenes MVPs Glen Morgan, Darin Morgan, James Wong, and, of course, series creator Chris Carter.

But Carter says that there were four names on his wish list that

didn’t end up participating in the limited series, but it wasn’t for lack of trying on his part.

I really hope they give us an update on Agent Doggett!

Could you please confirm whether it is a six episode, six-hour, series or a six episode, eight-hour, series? Some people are saying the first and sixth episodes are two hours long. Thanks.

It’s just 6 episode. 6 hours. No two hour episodes.

There’s a seventh script out there though. So hopefully, things turn out well and that seventh script becomes a movie or the start to full revival, rather than a short event.

I’d like a movie that deals with the myth arc over one that deals with the monster of the week. Far as I know that script is a MotW story, so I’d rather they saved it for an 11th season.

If these are good and if the ratings are solid, there could be more episodes. I would love to see Doggett come back at some point.

I worry about so many dead characters coming back. It would have been nice to balance them out with more living characters.

Unless Mulder and Scully are dead now too, of course. :)

The characters can come back in flashbacks or some other random form. Maybe they are all government clones as part of a new conspiracy.

I honestly didn’t remember James Pickens from “The X-Files”

Me either! I just had the most OH! moment reading that!

I really really really hope they get this one right. Heroes: Reborn has left a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to remakes. But I’m very optimistic on the X- Files.

Does anyone know if the ‘Chupacabra’ will be featured?

I have not read anything about the Chupacabra being around. They did showcase the creature in El Mundo Gira.
