"Certainly that’s how I feel. On the one hand, I can’t wait to see what’s coming next. I’m always excited for next week’s episode, always on the edge of my seat. And at the same time, I’m bracing myself for what I know will be a bunch of weird character inconsistencies and plot holes that the writers apparently think audiences won’t care about or are too stupid to notice."
- THIS. Accept I think the writers actually have no idea what they are doing. They have had the fan and critical feedback to tell them that we hate their dumb writing, but they continue to write the show poorly.

Also "4. Would you give your baby to Father Gabriel?" - LOLOLOLOL yes I thought the exactly the same thing. It made absolutely no sense at all for them to suddenly trust the biggest wimpy idiot of their entire group when he has done nothing but fuck up the whole time they've known him. Like this article suggests, if they had escorted him to the church so he was supervised for at least the most perilous part of the journey, I could have accepted it (and it would have filled in some time so that they didn't jump from daytime to nighttime so damn suddenly).
