Josh McDermitt has made a name for himself as Eugene Porter, the clumsy "scientist" on

. As Abraham and Rosita\'s travel companion on Season 5 of the zombie thriller, the actor has experienced his fair share of close calls and proved he may not exactly be combat ready. When it comes to his glorious mullet, however, well, that\'s a different story. With the Season 6 premiere of the hit AMC show quickly approaching (Sunday, 9/8c), we asked the actor all about his hair routine, three things fans should expect this season, and 26 random questions. 

Abraham or Rosita: who would make a better travel buddy in real life?

Probably Rosita. She\'s just as badass as Abraham but eats less food, which means more for me.

Ryan Gosling. I didn\'t actually meet him, but I sat next to him on a plane. He was sleeping. And I was staring at him the whole flight.

Season 4 when Eugene says to Tara, "I have to say... You\'re seriously hot." It was such a great moment for that character. And then his follow up to her response of only liking girls: "I\'m well aware of that."

I love it unless I can\'t tame it and then I have a mini meltdown and won\'t leave the house for weeks.
