The actor talks about making a racist redneck likable, compares Daryl to a pet snake and describes the strangest meal he ever ate (it wasn't squirrel).

Q: What was your favorito part about playing Daryl?

A: He's such a mixed guy. Growing up with a brother like Michael Rooker's character, you'd imagine he'd have tons of chicks on his shoulder. I think trying to find a way to be the little brother, but still be a badass in his own way and still show that he cares about his brother. Trying to show that he has feelings and trying to find a likable guy in a racist, you know?

Q: How do you make a racist likable?

A: I was looking for that fine line to get to where I actually cadastrar-se the group and become somebody that they can trust. I'm sort of like this pet snake: somebody that is around all the time and works with all these people, but he might snap at any second. It's like, you have to pick and choose your friends carefully, and sometimes you get stuck with whoever is not bitten. And the best part is that Daryl could go so many different ways since he's such a wild card. He could hook up with someone,...

And, like with the topo, início 10 best episodes, I'll tell you my opinion on those episodes.

10. WHAT HAPPENED AND WHAT'S GOING ON
Premiere of the mid-fifth season.
Aired: February 8th 2015
Rated: 7.9

I personally liked this episode. I'm surprised it's on that list. I agree it's not the best one, but there was worst episodes than this. I actually loved the 'link' aspect of it. It was kinda cool and interesting. It was new.

9. LIVE BAIT
Sixth episode of the fourth season.
Aired: November 17th 2013
Rated: 7.9

This episode was okay. I liked the introduction of the Chambler family. And I really loved all of the references to Rise of the Governor. But I kinda hated that they tried to humanize the Governor. He was and was always going to be a monster. So yeah,...

10. DAYS GONE BYE
First episode of the entire series.
Aired: October 31st 2010
Rated: 9.2

What a great episode to start off a series! I was hooked after the first scene! And you really know what you're getting yourself into with that opening scene. I agree that it's one of the best episodes of the series.

9. BESIDE THE DYING FIRE
Final episode of the segundo season.
Aired: March 18th 2012
Rated: 9.2

One of my favorito episodes. Best finale thus far. Michonne's introduction scene is still the best character introduction to this date. The fall of the farm was amazing and really well written. The only peeve I have is that they got back together way too fast and it would've been a great cliffhanger if the group hadn't got back together. (Though they made up for that with 4x08)

Welcome to the final part of my Hogwarts sorting for this fandom. The last, but not least, Gryffindor!

DARYL:
One of the Gryffindor traits is that they are impulsive, and I think we can all agree that Daryl is probably the most impulsive character of this series. Very often, he acts before thinking and ends up putting himself or someone else in trouble. When he's angry, he acts and then feels guilty about what he did, like when he punched Negan, which resulted in Glenn's death. Or when he opened the door to a bunch of walkers that nearly killed him and Beth and resulted in her kidnapping.

Daryl is also very courageous, always ready to go out and save people. You'll never see him sitting on his ass. He was the first one ready to go and get Andrea after the farm fell and she was left behind. He spent days out in the woods, nearly dying, while searching for Sophia. He spent weeks looking for the Governor, to protect his family. He's always on the front line, ready to fight for the ones he loves.

Are you guys ready for the third part of my Walking Dead Hogwarts Sorting? seguinte house is Slytherin!

Before we get into this house, I want to remind people that just because you're in Slytherin doesn't mean you're a bad guy or an evil person. I don't want anyone bitching in the comments about the fact that I put some of the "good guys" here. If I put them here, it's because I think it's where they belong, no matter which side of the battles they're on. Also, this far into the apocalypse, there are no "good guys" anymore, so it doesn't even matter.

RICK:
Of course Rick is a Slytherin. He has every quality needed for this house. Rick is probably one of the most resourceful people of this show and the perfect example of that was when he was trapped por Joe's arms and still manage to win the fight por biting the guy's jugular off. WITH HIS FREAKING TEETH! That scene is still one of the best scenes of the series. When he's in trouble, he always finds a way to get out of it, even when he has literally nothing to help him, he still gets out.

I was planning on posting this sooner, but then real life stuff happened. You know, school, work, all that bullshit. But hey, better late than never!

Without further ado, here are my annual death predictions. This ano I think most of the deaths will be minor characters, so there will probably mais deaths this season than last, especially with the war coming and all.

CHARACTERS I'M SURE WILL DIE:

SHIVA:
When: During the War.
Why: Having that kind of characters is complicated and expensive. At first, I didn't think they would bring in Shiva at all, because of all the CGI, bit I'm so glad they did! But I don't think she'll last long. Her time is coming up.
How: I think she'll go down fighting, protecting Ezekiel. I actually think we see her death scene in the trailer, when she is surrounded por walkers. I'm sad to see her go, but it was inevitable.

Here is the segundo part of the TWD Hogwarts sorting. Now we're gonna sort the characters into the Ravenclaw house.

EUGENE:
Let's start with the most obvious character for this house, the genius Eugene. Eugene is the smartest character on this show. He might not be a fighter or the most courageous character; he's actually, as he calls himself, a coward. But he is a very valuable ally during the apocalypse, because he can make pretty much anything from scrap - from bombs, to fire, to even poison. He can be dangerous another ways than most characters. His weapon is his mind. He's very manipulative, and survives por lying to others for their protection. Of course, he'll chose the easiest way, because that's the smart thing to do.

It takes intelligence to do everything he does, but he is also very creative, using whatever he finds to make useful stuff like weapons.

I'm starting a new series of artigos that will consist of me sorting different fandoms into Hogwarts houses. This is the first of what I hope will be a long series.

I will concentrate on the characters from the TV show, to keep it simple. There's going to be one artigo per house, so this is the first of four.

We'll start with the best house, my own house, Hufflepuff.

GLENN:
Glenn is a very loyal character, which is the biggest and most important quality of a true Hufflepuff. He's always been there for his family, doing everything in his power to protect and provide for them, never letting them down, ever. He was even sorta taken for granted in the earlier seasons por the other characters, being he was always ready to do something for them.

He was even loyal to his "enemy". When he met Tara, she was on the opposite side of the war, yet he helped her get out of the prison alive, while pretty much any other characters would've left her there to die, but Glenn couldn't bring himself to do that. Then, in the tunnels, he could've left her there and saved himself, but he...

Here is my personal death predictions for Season 6. Those aren't deaths that I want to happen, but deaths I think will happen.

I have some characters that I'm sure will die. Others that I think might die. And some that I wish they die. Here's my list. Feel free to comment your opinion. Just please stay nice. If you disagree, it's totally fine, but there's no need to cadela, puta about me or insult me. Thanks.

*All of the pictures on this artigo were edited por me, so don't use them without crediting me, please*

CHARACTERS I'M SURE WILL DIE:

NICHOLAS
When: Probably in episode 2, 3 or 4. Early on into the season.
Why: Because he's trying to redeem himself and we know how that works in The Walking Dead universe. Plus, he killed Noah and tried to kill Glenn, he can't get away with that.
How: Probably por walkers, with that big herd coming. OR Killed por The Wolves, because someone has to be killed por them, otherwise, what's their point?

It took me a long time to write this, but after the Carl bullshit they pulled, I really wasn't in the mood, so I decided to wait after the holidays. So here I am.

Last season ended with both Team Family and the Saviors ready to go to war.

MERCY:
The premiere was so forgettable that I had to look up my own weekly review I did for it. It was really underwhelming. I did like the fighting stuff, but there was basically no depth to the episode. Just shooting and yelling and killing.

My biggest complaint is the stupid flash forward. That was so off-putting and didn't add anything to the episode. It was just randomly put in between the shooting scenes. I feel like this scene was only there so they could use it in the trailer and make people believe that either Rick was waking up from that coma he was in back at the beginning of the series, or that they were doing the two-year time jump (like I did).

This artigo is to celebrate Bibi69, TWD Queen, FINALLY receiving her well-deserved red Fanatic medal in the TWD spot! This is an honor well, well overdue and it is awesome to see someone who truly is a TWD fanatic finally actually acknowledged por Fanpop's medal system.

Bibi has been this spot's most regular contributor for a long time now. She shares TWD content constantly throughout the seasons, as well as during the hiatuses; her finger constantly on the TWD pulse! Her dedication to the show and this club are to be admired.

For me personally, Bibi has actually kept me watching the show. Her post-episode picks help me debrief my own opinions, as well as inspire conversations among fãs about the various storylines and characters. Posting these picks provides us all with the opportunity to sort out how we felt about an episode, perhaps deciding that it wasn't as bad as we thought, or perhaps deciding it was worse! Bibi's own comments on these picks are always a great balance of joyous delight in the episode's events, and critical commentary on what the writers might have fucked up.

This is a bit old, and probably irrelevant because we're so much further in the story now, but I decided to go ahead a write this anyways.

During season 4B, it was the first time our core group got separated and scattered everywhere. But what is interesting is that the entire 8 episodes focused on five specific relationships and the nature of all of these relationships is completely different.

ROMANCE:
The most obvious and easy relationship to develop is a romantic one. Here, it was giving to Sasha and Bob.

Sasha and Bob started off as two regular individual, Bob having an obvious interest in Sasha and her not so much. Bob was able to change her mind during their time stuck together, but it only ended in tragedy. Typical.

PARENT/CHILD:
Then, we had a huge focus on Michonne and Carl developing a close bond, like she found another son and he found another mom. It was cute, you have to admit it. She told him stuff she had never told anyone before, and he did the same. And in the end, she's with Rick now, so she really is like his new mom. All works just fine.

Before the season starts back seguinte week, I will make my review of the first half of season 7. Let's recap what went on in those eight episodes, shall we?

First of all, the premiere was good, but they stretch the deaths scene way too much, the audience had already waited 7 long months to finally find out who Negan killed and they still decided to only show us halfway through the episode. Another bad decision on the writers' part. People were already pissed and they were able to piss them even more. Good job! Especially since 95% of the viewers had already figured out it was Abraham, so just show us already and get it over with!

Like I said in my anterior review, Glenn's death would've been a bigger surprise had they killed Abraham in the finale, because people wouldn't have expected it. Also, Nicotero had ruin that twist a couple of months back por saying that there was multiple deaths. Great job dude!

Ok, now that this is out of the way, I actually loved that they did Glenn's death frame por frame like the comics, because it was epic and perfect in the comics, it wouldn't have been as good had they not made it...

Ever since the Saviors appeared on the show, the writers have provided a couple of alter egos to members of Team Family.

Characters that are paralleling each other and have actually a lot in common, despite the fact that they are on opposite sides. Characters that are alike, but had different paths and that could've easily ended where the other is right now, had they had a different path.

Each pair has confronted each other at some point on the show.

CAROL & PAULA:

The first one we met was Paula.

Paula was paired with Carol in the episode The Same barco (6x13). They were showed talking to each other throughout the episode and we learned about Paula's past, which had some similarities to Carol's.

Both of them lost children because of the apocalypse. Paula lost four daughters. Carol lost one biological daughter and three surrogate daughters (the Samuels and Beth, with whom I always felt like she had a mother/daughter-ish relationship to). Both also lost their husbands to the apocalypse.

Daryl has to escape at some point, he won't always stay a prisoner at the Sanctuary. And I think he'll end up at the Kingdom. Here is how and why.

I think in the end, Dwight and xerez will help Daryl escape. He can't escape alone, that's pretty much impossible, he needs help. At least from Sherry, but I'd like to think Dwight will be in on it too.

After he does escape, he can't go back início to Alexandria. That's the first place Negan will go looking for him, and Daryl would put everyone at Alexandria in danger for going back there.

The safest thing Daryl could do is go to the Hilltop. He knows where it is and Negan might not think to go look for him there. But then, he might after all, because the Saviors know that Hilltop was dealing with Alexandria.

This is why I think that when when he gets to the Hilltop, someone, probably Jesus, as he's the one who goes out the most to deal with other communities, will tell him about the Kingdom. It would be the safest place for Daryl to go after his escape, because Negan deals with the Kingdom outside of the Kingdom. The...

As you all know, the official character portraits for season 7 were released a couple of days atrás and they are completely different from what they've done before.

First, they are completely red, usually they are pretty much desaturated or plain black and white like last season.

I get that the red refers to Negan and Lucille and the bloody kills that will occur in the premiere. But they still got my interest. Because usually, on the character portraits, the characters pretty much all kinda look alike. But not here. In these, they all have different facial expressions. I know nothing is ever done for nothing when it comes to The Walking Dead, so I know it means something.

I decided to take a look at them closely and this is what I came up with. This will be a short article. I'm not going in depth here, just some little things I can see.

Before you read this, you might want to read my link article. Because I'll be referring to it a lot in this article.

I'm back this year, as promised. Here are my death predictions for the seguinte season.

I have less predictions than last year, but there are bigger characters on it.

I think this season will be a bit different than season 6, with less deaths but bigger ones.

Shall we start?

CHARACTERS I'M SURE WILL DIE:

ABRAHAM FORD
When: Season premiere.
Why: They've been foreshadowing his death since season 6, with him talking about the future and making bebês and starting a new life. That's a huge red flag. Then he has a really touching 'goodbye' scene with Eugene. Red flag again. And everything in the last scene of season 6 is pointing to him dying (as I mentioned in my detailed artigo about this death).
How: Lucilled por Negan.

GLENN RHEE
When: Season premiere.
Why: The writers were always talking about a big left turn when it comes to the Lucille killing. And I started to think that maybe this left turn wasn't just them switching the character...

I've already said it in the pesquisa section, but I'm 100% sure Abraham is the one that got Lucilled and let me show you why.

So, I've watched the scene over and over for about 20 times now (I know I'm crazy, but I can't help it). And, let's break this scene down now, shall we?

First of all, let's take a look at the lineup.

In order, from Negan's POV we have:
Glenn, Rosita, Daryl, Michonne, Abraham, Maggie, Rick, Sasha, Aaron, Carl, Eugene

Like my dear friend Dasm pointed out, every other character is a woman and Carl. They are strategically placed.

Now, Negan's speech, at the end, actually gives us a couple of clues!

When he picks the person, the camera is now in this person's POV. And Negan says:

'Anybody moves, anybody says anything, cut the boy's other eye out and feed it to his father and then we'll start.'

I have a confession to make. This may startle you. Please brace yourself. Here it goes...

I hate Rick Grimes.

There, I said it. It feels so good to finally get that off my chest.

Just kidding. Those of you who have encountered me before in the spot are probably already aware of my Rick issues. I spend the majority of his scenes rolling my eyes, fuming, or grumbling "nobody cares, Prick". This artigo contains 13 characters that we know very little about, who appeared in less than 5 episodes, and were still mais interesting for me to watch than our righteous hero. Let's get on with it, eh?

DAVE
This is clearly influenced por my amor of Michael Raymond-James, but I was mais excited about his 7 minutos of screentime than I ever was for Rick. In 5 whole seasons.

MARTIN
Again, probably influenced por the actor, 'cause I'd recently decided I really liked Chris Coy in another show when he showed up in TWD. Cannibal Creep, as I somewhat affectionately refer to him as, is a mystery. We know he's with the Terminators, and that he eats people, and that he...

Cohan also discusses the fact that Glenn and Maggie have been the show’s only consistent couple since the death of Lori Grimes and how they represent all the hopes and dreams for what passes for romantic bliss in the zombie apocalypse.

“I don’t know if that puts us mais at risk of dying or less,” says Cohan. “It’s such a necessary hope and I definitely feel that invisible bridge between Glenn and Maggie the whole time of trying to find each other, and needing that.” But will Glenn & Maggie ever cruz that bridge and find each other?

The show has done a very good job of showing the dangers out there in new and scary ways — first with Daryl and Beth hiding in a car trunk, and then in tonight’s episode with a scene that finds Maggie, Bob, and Sasha caught in a deep mist and able to hear

approaching zombies without actually seeing them. It’s just another example of The Walking Dead finding ways to keep the zombie threat fresh. “I amor this device right now of keeping the characters blind.” Cohan tells us. “And because we can’t find each other, our abilities are lessened and impaired. It’s very interesting using...

Q: What did you think of the episode
Emilio: I loved it. That sums it up pretty good for me. Not my favorito but it was very intense and dark, which are my kind of episodes.

Tonia:I agree with Emilio. It was not the best and I'm kind of upset that Shane died but no geral, global we all saw that coming.

Samantha:I just want to know how the hell no one notices Carl is missing. I call bullshit on that.

Chris:It's por far my favorito episode this season. Glenn Mazzara is doing this right. And I agree with Samantha. How the fuck is that kid walking around unsupervised.

Mike:I really really liked this episode. It's not my favorito either but I'm really happy about the ending. And since we know what happens seguinte episode where really excited.

It took me a long long time to write this, but I had zero inspiration to write it. But I have to do it before my death predictions and before season 9 starts, so here I am.

I really did enjoy this part of the season mais than the first one, though.

We ended the first part of the season with Carl being bitten on the stomach and the Saviors attacking Alexandria.

HONOR:
The episode was a roller coaster. I think everything happening in the Kingdom was great. The scene with Gavin and morgan was just amazing. It was a nice nod to the old classic serial killer movies. morgan was just scary.

Even though I still hate what they did to Carl, I think the scene where we hear him shooting himself while Rick and Michonne are outside was powerful and a great call back to Andrea.

I really didn't enjoy the dream sequence about the perfect world for Carl, because they didn't need to show those imagens again. We had already understood what they were and it just took away from the emotion.

Well, this took long enough, but better late than never, right? Here is my (finally!) review for Season 7B.

The first half ended on a hopeful note, with Daryl reuniting with Team Family and Rick going to the Hilltop to make an alliance and to build forces to beat Negan.

The segundo half started strong, with jesus taking Team Family to meet Ezekiel, which is something I was waiting for, because in the first half we haven't really seen the Kingdom again after meeting them and they are my favorito community. Bias aside, this meeting was really interesting, and Team Family's reaction to Shiva was just priceless!

I understood Ezekiel's decision of not wanting to cadastrar-se the fight, because, so far, he didn't have any problems with the Saviors, so I wasn't mad at him for saying no, but I knew something would eventually happen down the line and make him change his mind.

I think the highlight of the episode was Rick and Michonne cutting all of these walkers with the wire and the cars. That was just fucking epic!
