Kyle's POV.
I gathered my weapons as the walkers slammed their clumsy hands on my door. I grabbed a sniper and ran upstairs.

Lock and load! I thought as I opened the segundo story window and blasted the zombies outside one por one. I grabbed the keys to my SUV as soon as they were gone and jumped out the window.

It wasn't a very big fall, so I landed on my feet. I sprinted to my vehicle, got inside and slammed on the gas pedal.

----SEDALIA---
I stopped the vehicle and got out. The streets were blocked por a truck-barricade. "Crud..." I said. Gonna have to find another way. I looked around and saw that the pharmacy was the only open area. I left through the backdoor and found myself in an alley. A walker. Great. I snuck up with my faca and stuck it in its head. I released and the walker dropped instantly.

I heard a voice yelling to me and looked up to see a teenager, about 16 years of age. I climbed up using a nearby ladder

James' POV
"Hey! You! Up here!" I shouted to the man below who seemed about...What, in his mid-thirties? I don't know. "Use the ladder!" I shouted one last time. He complied and climbed up.

He looked around and told me I had a nice setup. I thanked him and asked him if I could go with him, after all, I couldn't stay up here all day!

The man, who said his name was Kyle, told me I could come, but for now I would have to stay up here since I had no weapon. I complied and stayed behind.

Kyle's POV
"Sure, you can come with me, but your gonna have to stay here for a while." I told him. The kid, er, James had no weapon. He did tell me about a gas station that was still up and running. I climbed down and entered through a open door and as soon as I walked through the exit, I got grabbed. I stabbed the walker in the eye and pushed it off.

What even CAUSED this?! I thought as I snuck through the streets to the gas station. Pumps were running, good. Unfortunately, when I filled the gas can the noise put walker s on my tail, i sprinted back to James, hoping to lose them.

I quickly climbed up the ladder and met with James again. "Time to GO!!" I said. We scalled down the roof and sprinted back to the vehicle, filled it up, and drove off, leaving the walkers behind.

No POV
Kyle drove along the road and turned looked at James. "What's the matter, kid? We just threw off a hell load a walkers! You should be happy!"" James looked at the rear view mirror. "I just left my início town behind...My friends...my family..." James muttered. Kyle frowned from sadness and frustration. This kid had no idea what zombification was, but it was rather sad that he lost his family.

"Look, kid, your family are nothin' but a bunch of flesh-eating walkers now. Just calm down. Their most likely still walking anyway. I only killed two." Kyle told him in order to cheer him up. "Yeah, I guess they are." James said. Kyle turned on the radio.
