She is very pretty but still seems like a typical high school girl, and I adore the strength and attitude that she brings to the character (although I am under the impresion that elena is written that way to begin wth). At first I didn't like the Elena in the books but i've grown to like her. But it's nice to have two different Elena's with slightly different personalities, it makes it a bit more interesting I think :) posted over a year ago.

I just don't think her acting ability is up to scratch, compared to the other actors on TVD.
